Hiking up a mountain is more than just going out for a jaunt, or some exercise, you don’t see a mountain and climb it just because it is there, you hike a mountain to look deeply in what you see, you hike a mountain to reach the summit of the mountain, so you can look out deeply into the horizon and truly see all the beauty all around you, while you sit and enjoy the peace and the serenity from all the true beauty.
Hiking up a mountain is a whole lot more than exercise, it is therapy for the soul. Sometimes you start out on a hike with some extra baggage, then just the pack on your back, that extra baggage comes from the society for which we live. After a while our judgments get clouded, we become bothered by every little thing, our minds get filled with negativity and the positivity then disappears from the limelight. When you are hiking it is you, the trail and Mother nature which gives you a chance to escape and actually think of, what your next move will be. In this day of Social Media, some may hike just to brag on their social platforms, or maybe brag to others that they reached the summit of a certain mountain, they are not using what real hiking does for your soul properly, as when they come back from the summit, they feel even more clouded after, than before they even started the hike.
True hiking is the enjoyment of the hike, being on a trail and seeing things you normally would never see in your everyday life. The journey of climbing up a trail, to be as high as you can be, above the line of the tree tops, looking out into the horizon and really looking deeply into what you see, being one with yourself and Mother Nature, while you clear the clouds of your judgments, to think more clearly and to let the big weight of a society, melt away into the deep blue horizon. To hike properly along a trail and to the summit of a mountain, is to unwind, so you than can be truly of who you are and not the person that Society thinks you are, yes hiking is a free kind of therapy, that soothes your heart and soul, so you can move forward along your path of this journey through life, in peace and happiness always.
Hiking will bring change to you as you walk the trail of the mountain, whether it’s in the form of your surroundings, or it’s within you yourself with your attitude at the start of the hike, because at the beginning of the hike, you are filled with hatred and ugliness from a broken society, you are filled with negativity from the ugly society, then as you hike further, you can actually feel the negativity and the hatred, melt away and leave your body, making you feel much lighter as you move forward along the trail. The change that happens along the trail is within you and on the trail of the mountain, it not only helps you see the beauty in all that is around you, it helps beautify the soul deep within you, leaving you with good thoughts, more positivity than negativity and helps you stay true to who you are, without hiding in the plain sight of a society, because you are being someone you truly are not. Some of the trails you hike can be a lot of work, but when you hike properly up the mountain, it doesn’t feel like work, as you enjoy the hike and all the true beauty all around you, then when you reach the summit, you actually feel the peace and serenity deep within your heart and soul.
