The biggest Scandel of my lifetime of any sport………..

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA        “The fire is burning within the entire National Football League and with the way the league is handling the situation of so called under inflated footballs, then mishandling other business that is far worse than this, this fire is quickly turning into a roaring blaze, with no way to put it out”.

Let’s get this out of the way first, Hockey is my #1 sport, with the Boston Bruins being my favorite team, football is #2 on my list, with the New England Patriots being my favorite team and yes I have suffered through all the years before Belichek/Brady even came into the picture. True the Patriots are my favorite team, but I am such a sports fanatic, that I can see past the crap and look at all angles equally, unlike all the Drama Queens within all the Sports media. Yes I may struggle and not want to believe when a favorite player does something wrong, but if all the true facts were to come out against this player, okay I may have a hard time to accept the facts, but I would accept them and move on. Now in the case of Tom Brady and the way the NFL has dealt with this, then listening to Bob Kraft speak very angrily to the media? I have no choice but to go from 100% to 120% behind Tom Brady with my support.

I get the fact that the NFL is a business, but when the business becomes bigger than the sport itself, now you have a huge problem that needs to be fixed. How can you basically convict someone when you have no concrete evidence, which is what has been done to Tom Brady, Roger Goodell says in his report that Brady destroyed his phone? Brady comes out and says he did not destroy anything, that his samsung phone broke and he replaced it with a new Iphone? Then went to his carrier to try to retrieve the texts, but could not? I believe Tom on this as his play on and off the field through his tenure with the New England Patriots has proven that he is a straight up person. Tom Brady works very hard to be the best Quarterback for himself and the team he plays for, he is always the first to practice and the one who works the hardest, so hard that he expects perfection of himself and when that perfection is not there, he gets pissed at himself first before anything else.

Now let’s talk hypothetically, if you work for a Corporation and they pay for you to have a cellphone and want to monitor your calls and texts, that is completely fair and within the rights of the Corporation. Now you have a personal cell phone and your Company wants you to hand over that phone, you are within your rights not to, even if the company responds by disciplining you in some way shape or form? But and this is a big “BUT”, you are within your rights to fight them, because the word “personal” is just that…………. Personal. This is exactly what is going on between Tom Brady and the National Football League, the way the league has handled this and all other situations within the league, to me is suspicious at best, when you have two Individuals that have been proven of physical abuse against their Spouse and have received a slap on the hand, compared to the way they are handling a so called deflated football? There is something wrong within the organization and needs to be corrected in a big way, not too mention the way the league has handled a lot of other situations brought before them in the past.

Roger Goodell would not be Commissioner if it weren’t for Robert Kraft and the way Mr. Kraft spoke this morning of the leagues actions, he is pissed and I can’t say I don’t blame him one bit. The league has handled this situation badly from the start and it is just snow balling out of control right now, like a small camp fire left unattended. Tom Brady with his four Super Bowl wins, his three Superbowl MVP’s and his two league regular season MVP’s, not to mention other records and stats he holds, has more than proven that he is the best Quarterback of this time and can be mentioned along with the greatest Quarterbacks, within the history of the National Football league.   Tom Brady does not need to cheat, cause he works his tail off whether in practice or a sanctioned game and when you work as hard as Tom does, you also can be the best at what you do. There is an old saying, “the hater’s are always going to hate”? This holds so true today and because Tom works so hard to be the best at what he does, plus the fact he has become a winner, now your going to have hater’s coming out of the wood work everywhere. What I say to all the Hater’s is, “if you want to be a Winner like Tom Brady, then step up to the plate and beat the Winner”. “Stop all the talk cause talk is cheap, it’s your actions and how you step up to the plate that matters a lot more than the cheap words”. Tom Brady is a class act and we all should step up to the plate to be like him, he has my full support through all this and when all is said and done, all the hater’s will go back under that rock they crawled out from.

” the Hater’s may always hate, but if they spent more time stepping up to the plate, then they will find there is no time to hate”

” The National Football League clearly has it’s issues, it’s time they step up to the plate and fix the issues, so the league can become better and let the great players get back to what they do best”

The Shepard has come home

” Sometimes within life as we walk our paths of our journey of life, we don’t realize til it’s too late, just how much we really have touched the lives of those around us”

” Come home my Shepard, you have gathered the Herd, now it’s time to relax and relish the feeling of what hard work really is”.

Throughout our lives as we walk this journey and more so in today’s Society, we want everything now, we want people to notice who we are and what we are doing, even before we have done anything, or became anything at all, We want so bad to be noticed, that we do anything and become someone we are truly not, just so others will notice us, even if its in the wrong way.

Jesus came to us and walked his journey with us, he did so in a quiet way and like the Shepard gathering the Herd, Jesus gathered his followers one by one. Jesus wasn’t out to win any rewards like we operate today, he just very quietly spread the words of his Father, the Lord God the creator of all Mankind.

Sport’s within our Society is very much like Jesus when he came and walked his journey with us. When you play sports the right way and for the right reasons, whatever sport you play will touch your heart as well as the hearts of many, just like Jesus touched the hearts of many throughout his journey. Lasts nights induction of Brett Favre to the hall of fame within lambeau field and the way that the 70,000+ fans greeted him, shows just how special sports can be within all our lives. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place even Brett was brought to tears as the entire stadium stood as one, to show their appreciation of their Quarterback of the team the Green bay Packers. Brett played a lot of years for this team, he played hard and gave his all to the team, he even brought a Championship back to the fans, so they can celebrate Brett’s hard work with him, last night brought all that hard work back front and center, to the thousands of fans in attendance. This is what sports can truly do within our Society, just like Jesus brought us together for good, Sports can unite us as well, so we all can walk our paths along this journey through life in peace and become stronger and better from one Society to another.

Respect is never just handed to us, we have to go out and earn the respect, by doing whatever we do in the right way, when we cheat to try to get the respect and when we think respect should just be given to us, true respect will never be awarded to us.  True respect takes a lot of hard work and dedication to whatever you do, without these two respect you will never have earned. Some of the sports players think that because they are playing for a lot of money, that we all should respect them always? I got news for you, true respect does not work that way. Real sports stars like Brett Favre, Ray Bourque, Bobby Orr, Bill Russell, or Micheal Jordon to name a few, received the respect for the sport they played after they retired, cause they were to busy working their tail off and giving 100% to the teams in which they played. Sports can and will be when done in the right way, a way to unite together large quantities of people to show true respect to each other, Jesus when he came to us didn’t ask to be respected by any of us, he earned that respect with his actions and his teachings to all of us. With this feeling of respect also comes the knowing that, you have become a Shepard to many, by bringing together many for the reason of good towards all and like the Shepard at the end of the day, now you to can relax truly, knowing that your job is done. There is no better feeling we will ever feel, than earning the respect of many, as we all walk our paths along our journey of life.

” Sports when played for the right reasons, will always unite many, but when done for the wrong reasons will bring great pain and hatred to all”

” The job of the Shepard wasn’t a job where glory was around you, but you did the job anyways going unannounced to those around you, but in the end you earned much respect from all those around you”
