The Fire in the sky………..

What a beautiful sunset to cap of a beautiful day within nature. The sky is burning in the flames of the sun, just as the fire burns within each of us, we all have that flame within us, to achieve all we want to achieve, as we get older that flame seems to die out a bit, but does it really die out? It only seems like it does, because we loose our focus, we lose the drive to keep the flames burning within, we then get so caught up in all the crap around us, we then forget to stoke our own fire, we look at all around us in a different way, the focus we once had becomes clouded as we do not see things as we once did. Life is not all as soft as a Rose pedal, or the path we walk is not always paved, we always have to work hard for what we want and there are no exceptions, even the filthy rich have to work hard at keeping their wealth, or their wealth will disappear as quick as it came.

We all walk a path through this journey of life, we have to work every day to make the path as smooth as we can, the one thing we can not do is, count on another to help in the up keep of the path, unlike some might think like one of those Socialists types, you can’t take from one to help another along, especially the fact that those you may be taking from, are out there working hard to keep their paths clear, so why should some not have to work at clearing their path? Why should some take something that they really didn’t work for? There is this thing called pride and with pride, it makes you have a good feeling within, it helps you with self confidence to achieve all you want to achieve, without the pride and without the confidence, then the fire within you really does not burn as it should, as a matter of fact, that fire within becomes extinguished, making you cold inside with no true feelings moving forward.

Camping within Mother Nature is a lot more than just setting up a tent, setting up a piece of land just for peace and quiet, the days of camping is to unwind from the daily grind, explore and see things for which you normally would not see, not just see a sunset as beautiful as this, but also a sunrise just as much, there is a lot more to this journey through life, than the usual daily grind we all live, true we can get so caught up in the daily grind, that we then forget to stoke our fire within, which we then forget to get out and explore to see things we never see normally, sometimes we make a choice to stay within the world we are in, then that becomes our choice and we really can not blame another for that choice we have made, nor can we expect another to give up their choice, just because we do not like the choice we have made.

Sometimes life will bring us discomfort, it will bring us things that gives us much pain and hurt, through that pain and hurt is also when we become so clouded within, that the fire within us, will become extinguished like the rain fall over the campfire, when we are within the clouds it becomes very hard to see anything, even the path for which we are walking and instead of working at cleaning up the path, we just wander trying to hide our pain and hurt, so we can look as normal as we can. Sometimes the discomfort is part of what we are doing and sometimes, the discomfort comes from others who will bring it to us, simply because they try to seem more powerful to those around them? Either way it is up to us to clear the clouds of pain and hurt, so we than can feel good of ourselves, feel total confidence in ourselves, so we to can achieve all we want to achieve.

A trip within Mother Nature to explore and see things we normally would not see, is better than any therapy, it will help us unwind, it will help us clear the clouds from our judgments, so we than can see all the beauty around us, as we look out into the horizon and with a clear mind, we than can see that the horizon is looking back at us, we also notice that all our other senses are waking up to what is around us, we find that yes we do have these things of feelings within us, just that they were buried so deep within, that like the fire within, they were lost within the clouds that engulfed us. This journey through life is not about us waiting for another to give us everything, it’s not about just being consumed within the daily grind, there is so much more to this journey, we just have to have the confidence in ourselves to get out there and explore all that it has to offer and with this confidence, we will find that we have these feelings within us, that need to be stoked like the fire within, so as we walk our paths through this journey, we can do so in peace and happiness always.

” As the fire is within the sky, so to is there a fire within each of us as well to fuel ourselves to achieve all we want to achieve”

” As the sunset comes to put the sky to sleep for the night, so does the sunrise come to wake the sky up for the coming day”

” Socialism never works, just look at the current country of Venezuela”

” Discomfort will bring us pain and hurt, but to bring us comfort we all need to work hard and the pain and hurt will get better moving forward”

The Spoked B is worn with pride throughout the team.

The spoke “B” on the jersey of the Boston Bruins, is worn with not only having pride for the organization, but pride for the teammates you play the game of hockey with. Patrice Bergeron shows just what this pride is all about.

These Bruins of the 2014/15 season did not live up to the expectations that not only the Management had, but the fans of the spoke “B” had. The reason for this starts with the General Manager in Peter Chiarelli and the Bruins did the right thing in letting him go. Even before the season started, Peter let go a huge part of the Identity of this team in Jonny Boychuk, but it started even before this, when they let Andrew Ference go? These two guys were not the most talented, but what they brought to the team in an Identity, goes way beyond, any kind of talent, they made this team very tough to play against.

The loss of the Identity became worse when they let Shawn Thorton go? True Thorty was getting older, but his toughness and grit, is what this team missed most this year, Thorty knew when to throw down the gloves and when not to, he knew how to make the players of the other teams see a shadow and cough up the puck, which carried throughout the team and made these Boston Bruins a hard team to play against, from whom ever they played against. In 2011 when they won Lord’s Stanley cup, they had all these ingredients and used them to whip up a gourmet meal, each time they took to the ice that year.

When Peter took these guys away, without adding similar guys ( maybe younger),  now you have a team playing without an identity. I mean like simple addition and subtraction like you learn in school, when you keep subtracting numbers, without adding in any other numbers, eventually you end up with zero or a negative number.

I will always bleed the black and gold of the Boston Bruins and have been a true fan since the Bobby Orr days, yes I still bleed the black and gold and always will bleed these great colors, not too mention my passion for the game, as a former player of the game. Now with that said, I still believe in some of the core players of this team, as yet a few of the core need some tweaking or changing.

Coach Claude showed some versatility, when he put Pasternak, Spooner and Lootch together on a line and as this line showed great promise, it also brought to life the Bear in Lootch, as he played well with the young and future of the Bruins. Bergy was just being Bergy, as his game of the best defensive forward in the game, stayed true to form, no matter who was on his line, Soderberg and Eriksson proved they have great chemistry with each other, while the Merlot line showed that it needs more grit, as well as speed on the ice.

The defense is where this team needs to get better in a hurry and I would build a strong defense around Dougie and Krug. Now if Miller comes back from his injury? He would be a great 4th line defense man,   Seidenberg and Mcquaid? now here is where you get something while you still can, Chara true he is getting old for this fast game, but I would reduce his time on ice, as his reach can still work in your favor and let him retire as a Bruin out of respect. Which means that Patrice Bergeron finally gets the “C” on his jersey, as he more than deserves this.

I think you noticed a few names I have not mentioned? number one on the list of trade guys is Brad Marchand, as his reputation has hurt the team more than it helped, plus his play is not as consistent as it should be. Smith, Paille, campbell also haven’t been consistent with their game also, so use them to trade and better the team moving forward. Kretchi if he is healthy from his injury, can still help this team so he stays, as well as Max Talbot cause both of these can play the two way game like Bergy.

The Goalie situation with Rask stays the same, but the back up position needs some attention, so Tuukka can have some days of rest. Claude Julien and his system can still be effective in this league, just maybe add some speed within it, Claude is a great coach, but when a GM like Peter, subtracts without adding, now you tie the Coaches hands at what he can do. The roster for next season should be with Rask, Dougie, Krug, Miller, Chara, Lootch, Kretchi, Pasternak, Bergeron, Spooner, Soderberg, Eriksson, Talbot, Ferlin, with the rest of the other guys gone for more speed and guys that fit the system in place by coach Claude. These guys will be the core of the team and between them and who you bring in, they can form an identity that can be like the 2011 team, of a team that is hard to play against for any opponent they may face.

I have much respect for Cam Neely and I have total faith in him and if they bring back Don Sweeney as the new GM, that this team will contend for yet another Stanley cup.

” Go Bruins!!! Make us proud, so we true fans can enjoy Bruin hockey once again”

” I bleed black and gold, only the true fans bleed this color, as an ordinary fan bleeds the ordinary red blood”

The “Bruin” Chronicles.

The struggles of this 2015 team the Boston Bruins, goes a lot deeper than the CEO Charlie Jacobs coming out and saying their play is unacceptable, yes it is part of this team turning it around as of late, some may say the players are nervous of losing their jobs? The actual fact and answer to this turn around goes to Claude the Coach, as he still has his finger on the pulse of this team, but the biggest reason of the turn around is, the actual pride of each player Individually, go right down the roster and their are all members of this team you will find responsible for this dip in their play.

Sometimes you don’t understand pride until it comes and slaps you in the face and that is what it did, when Charlie Jacobs said what he said. It all started when this team lost to Montreal in the playoffs last season, they were the best team in the league, won the President’s trophy and thought they had the Cup in the bag? I will give them a couple key injuries early in the season, but the main reason of their lack of play is, the fact of pride and not being confident in themselves to overcome adversity, you would think that Claude would fix this issue? He is not God and you may lead the horse to water, but ultimately it is the player that needs to drink that water and run with it, not just are these Bruins drinking the water, but their confidence is better, they realize what each of their strengths are, which is what the coach brings together, so the whole team can be better and stronger moving on through the season and hopefully into the playoffs.

In a full hockey season the ultimate goal is to make the playoffs, then the goal becomes to win the Stanley cup, which is the most prestigious and hardest trophy to win in all sports. The end of a Stanley cup run will have the player feel emotionally as well as physically drained, then as they turn the corner into the next season, you can’t help but still feel the affects of the season previous, its not just the job of the coach to motivate the players, but each player has to motivate themselves as well as their teammates, sometimes this motivation takes way longer then it really has to, now during this time you hear a lot of crap from the so called sports media and the fair weather fan, simply because they don’t truly understand the game of hockey, true hockey players get paid a good amount of money and the so called sports media would have you think money motivates, but hockey players get no where nears the amount of money as a baseball player and a hockey player works 10 times harder, this motivation comes from within each of the players, with a small percent coming from other areas, in order for the player to motivate himself, he has to want it and sometimes this want takes a little time to build up, a little encouragement in the right places will help greatly, but it is the Individual player that fully motivates himself, then he motivates his teammates with the same encouragement he had received.

This Bruins team and the core of this team are still a great bunch of guys on and off the ice, they still have some to give, just that they need to put the past behind them, look at the now and what is in front of them, so they can have success and get into the playoffs, then as they become better and stronger, bring that into the playoffs and have fun winning another Stanley cup, then we start another season a new, with that issue of motivation once again you get the picture, playing the game of hockey for a player, is the same of each of us walking our paths along our journey of life.

” hockey players are a lot like you and I living our lives, just that we are playing the game of our lives”

” motivation comes from within, sometimes it has to be lifted out of us”

” to motivate ourselves is sometimes the hardest thing for all of us to do, like accepting real change to our lives”

Sports brings good to our Society, when done the right way

I am a huge Boston Bruins fan, been a fan all my life and I am a true die hard fan, yes I was disappointed at their game 1 loss to the Montreal Canadians last night, but instead of showing my stupidity on social media, I was more of a good sportsman and refused to comment on any of those ridicoulous posts.
Now if you do not know what I am saying, twitter blew up last night, with stupidity and racist remarks, people calling out a certain Canadian player and using a certain word, this is uncalled for and only shows not just stupidity, but the fact that we in this Society are arrogant and all about me, maybe not all of us, but enough that it makes all of us look bad.
When sports is done the right way, just look no further then the 2013 Boston Bruins and the Boston Red Sox, both these teams played last year the right way, went deep in the playoffs, the Red Sox finished it off with a championship and the Bruins fell 17 seconds short, but what was more important is, both these teams played not just for themselves and their organization, but for an entire City, showing unity and a never quit attitude, after a time when the City was devastated after the Marathon bombings, showing us all what #bostonstrong really stands for.
When sports are played the right way and we as fans follow our teams the right way, it is the most beautiful thing, as it not only unifies, but gives us a feeling of pride, not just of our team but more importantly, for ourselves, so we can walk our Journey of life, with the confidence and strength, to be happy and show love of one another, instead of the hate and sadness that we see today.
Sports is a powerful tool when played the right way, to be a winning “team” you not only play for yourself, you play for your teammates, which brings that unity of a group together, that same unity then consumes all the fans and when done in the right way, is the most beautiful thing to watch. Unity and sports are there to be played correctly, so we all can prosper as a Society, when we prosper the good for all of us will follow, it’s when we don’t prosper that the bad then consumes us, so as a Bruins fan, Let’s go Bruins!!!! As a fan and a member of Society, let the “good” times roll!!!

“Sports is one tool to use, let’s do it right so we all can prosper in our Society”

“When there is hate, just simply ignore and don’t respond, as this hate will then just die away”
