“Draw near to God and he will draw near to you”
You ever get your hand stuck inside a vase, then call for help to get it out, the help says for you to outstretch your hand, as they try to pull the vase from your hand, but you say back to them, if I do that then I drop whatever it is within my hand? We of this society are very similar to this situation, we are so afraid to let go, so we can be free from whatever it is that is holding us back.
We of this society will let fear of anything control who we truly are, this fear will stop us from moving forward and keep us running in circles with no true direction. When the fear of anything comes to us, we then shut down, bury who we truly are deep within, as to try to keep all the pain and hurt away from us. All our true feelings and emotions get buried so deep within along with our true selves, that we then feel nothing and our hearts go cold. When our hearts are cold, we then stop acknowledging Jesus Christ, which then his blood doesn’t flow through and warm our hearts, and even worse, his love gets lost among all the ugliness that surrounds us.
Trust is the word of the day. Trust is what helps us keep all fear at bay, trust is when you truly have trust in yourself, to overcome anything that may come to you. When we have trust in ourselves as well as Jesus Christ, there is no fear that will come to us and bring us great pain. I get the fact that there may be some life events that we can not control and come to wreak havoc on us, but when these events come, it is more important than ever, for us to have complete trust in ourselves as well as Jesus Christ. Simply because once the fear takes a hold of us, once the fear grabs us within the big cold hands, it is very hard to break free from that fear. it is not impossible to break free, but it then takes very hard work on us, as it then consumes us so much, that, yes we may get back to who we are, just not totally of who we could have been, as we have used up so much energy, that now we struggle to get away from any fear moving forward, plus now we even fear the fear.
We can be as free as we want to be, as we walk our paths through this journey of life. We get so focused on just keeping up with the Jones sort of speak, that we totally forget about walking this path for ourselves. We let everything affect us, and struggle with letting go of anything, so we can move forward better and stronger. This journey is not about us walking it for another, this journey works best if we walk it for ourselves, then as others see this and do the same, now you have a healthy journey, where we all can walk our paths in peace and happiness. Plus when we acknowledge the blood of Christ within our hearts, he then warms our body and soul as well, while his love leaks out of us, and into all those around us.
When my journey finally comes to a close, I want to be an Eagle. A big powerful bird that flies through the skies with no worries, they are so strong they fly so effortlessly no matter how strong the winds are. Watching an Eagle take to the sky and flap those wings with such a force to get really high in the sky, then just simply glide all through the ” big blue yonder”, as they catch those wind currents just right. The Eagle is such a Majestic bird, a bird that its beauty shines from afar, a bird that sees his dinner from so high above and within the waters below, then swoops down and snatches it with the greatest of ease. The Eagle just does its thing along its journey and does not let the fear get in its way, or it wouldn’t be able to soar at such high heights, with the greatest of ease.
Letting go isn’t all about cleaning out the basement, or cleaning out the car. To really let go is about cleaning out yourself, taking stock in your life, seeing where you were, where you are, to get to where you want moving forward. It is kind of like being a hoarder, where you are so afraid to throw anything away, so your house becomes so cluttered with crap, you can’t even walk around the house correctly. The difference is, you have become a Hoarder of your life, where there is so much clutter within yourself, that now you can’t see clearly along your path of the journey. The journey then becomes so heavy that now, you don’t even want to walk anywhere anymore, not just that you don’t want to, you just have no clue of the direction, because of all the inner clutter. Let go, be free, fly the open skies like the bird in this picture, as you let go, so does the heaviness of trying to take off and be free, then you can see clearly along your path, to walk through this journey, to be free, within the peace and happiness, that Jesus Christ showed us, on his journey here with us. Let go and be free, so we all can be everything we want, throughout this journey of life, as peace and happiness surround us all.
” Fly away, be free, don’t let the clutter weigh you down and bring great pain in all you do”
” Focus on yourself more and get away from the focus of others, so you can truly be free to fly the heights you want throughout this journey”
