Diversity is everywhere, no matter where you go……….

Even as you venture outside in the great outdoors, you will see Diversity all around you. As you go trekking through the wilderness and look at all that is around, you will find that even the plant life has many different varieties and yes they are living and breathing just as we throughout Mankind.  You can see all the different plant life within this picture and the one that stands out the most is the Birch tree in the middle of the picture, what you don’t see are these trees attacking each other, simply because they are different from each other, this is only done by us as Humans throughout Mankind.

Just because we may look different from each other, is not a good enough reason for us to attack each other, whether we do it physically or mentally, there is no reason good enough for this behavior at all. Some of us have different color skin, some may have different faiths, some have different nationalities, this is what’s suppose to make us better from one Society to another, not too mention help us grow healthy and happy, like all the plant life we see around us, when we trek through the wilderness of the great outdoors.

Just because someone looks different than we ourselves, does not mean they are different at all, they do bleed red blood and have all the same features as each of us, maybe one was born or maybe lost a limb from a tragic event, this isn’t reason to make fun of them, or simply ignore their existence, they to have the same feelings as each one of us and they do cry when we ridicule them just so we can look to be stronger than them, they still have a brain and a mind like all others and most of the time, they are much smarter then the ones that are ridiculing them. Then there are other people throughout this Society that are less fortunate than others, they may struggle to find food for their meals, or maybe don’t have a roof over their heads for warmth and comfort? This is no reason to look down on them and put yourself above them, instead we should show more Empathy and Remorse for them, so they can find the strength to be better, instead of just trying to be invisible from the rest of us. We throughout Mankind are our own worst enemies and all the problems throughout this Society are our own fault, whether we want to own up to it or not?

There are many varieties of Humans, just like there are many varieties of plant life, through this Diversity is how we grow to be stronger and better on our paths of this journey through life and we can be as healthy and happy as all the plant life throughout the Forests that we trek through as we explore. The biggest thing that is missing throughout this Society is, there is not enough Empathy or Remorse shown towards each other anymore, instead we try to get ahead of each other, by stepping on each others shoe shine and messing up each others shine, without caring for the mess we leave behind.

Diversity is everywhere as you look around, we all have a purpose on this journey through life, just that each of us have to find that purpose, the problem lies when we are busy messing up each others shine and we get wrapped up in offending each other, some may try to use the race card as a way of messing up the shine even more? I have a NEWS FLASH!!! There is no such thing as a race card, just that we need to use more Empathy of each other, put ourselves in the shoes of the ones we are messing up the shine, so we then can see that they to have feelings as we do. Just as all the plant life sway in the wind without a worry, we to can sway through this journey of life with no worries, when we walk our paths of this journey the right way and clearly see all the Diversity around us, show our true Empathy of each other, than all our paths of this journey through life, will be of peace, happiness and as healthy as we want to be, while the whole Society grows and becomes stronger than the Societies of the past.

” Diversity is everywhere around us, we just have to show more empathy and remorse, to let the Diversity grow in a healthy way”

”  The plant life throughout the great outdoors, has all the same Diversity as we do throughout all Mankind”

” There is no race card, this is a made up card by we the people throughout this Society”

” Empathy is a feeling deep within all of us throughout Mankind, it’s there for us to put ourselves in the shoes of others instead of messing up there shine, just for our own personal gain”

Diversity and serenity within the city of Boston

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

This is a picture taken on the Boston side of the Charles river, looking towards the Cambridge side and in the direction of the famous Harvard University.

As you look out into the river, you see the boats gliding along, with other boats docked and moored along the river, you sit on a bench along a path, separated from the hustle and bustle of the city, while enjoying the peace and serenity in front of you, we in this society are so caught up in the fast paced society around us, that we simply don’t even notice all the true beauty that is around us.

Like most cities in the United States, yes you have a lot of crime and ugliness within it, then you have the media that focuses on all this ugliness, just to bring our attention to them so they can create more drama and money for a story, while we focus on the media, we simply forget all the good about the city, then get caught up in all the drama, as we try to keep up with the fast paced society of today,

The problem really lies within each of us as Humans, we don’t take the time to see the true beauty around us, there fore it must not exist? we get so engulfed in all the issues and problems of others around us, we tend to forget what is important to us as an Individual and that is to take care of our own issues and problems, instead we hide them in order to move forward and fit in, because we do this it makes it harder to love ourselves, which then makes it harder to love all that is around us, which then leads to a lot of hate and bitterness within our society.

To truly see all the true beauty around us, we first need to love ourselves, forgive ourselves when we need to the most, so we can be better and stronger moving forward on our path of our journey of life, when we do this then our society can be better and stronger moving forward, as we not only love ourselves but we love everything/everyone around us, then we can see all the true beauty around us, like looking out onto the Charles river in Boston, or places similar in these United States, plus when we love ourselves and everything around us, there is less of a chance for us to keep up with the fast paced and go no where society, as we get caught up in the moderation and the look at everything around us society, which in the long run will help all of us as Individuals and within society, move forward on our paths of our journey of life, with strength and confidence to be better with more love and happiness, instead of all the hate and bitterness that consumes us now.

” We have one shot to walk this journey, the best way is to do it right for ourselves and others around us”

” there is true beauty in everything we see, we just have to really look deeply in order to really see this beauty”

” through all life has to offer and what it throws at us, if we stay true to ourselves we will always see the beauty that life puts forth in front of us”

There is Beauty in everything that is around us………

To some that look at this picture may only see what is in the picture, but to truly see what is the beauty of this picture, you have to stop and really look at each individual item within this picture, this is what Mayor Tom Menino did everyday of his 20 year tenure within the city of Boston.

Each one of these items within this picture has a purpose, not just of itself but for each other, as well as us as Human beings, you have a blue sky with clouds, that bring rain and sunshine that help feed all this plant life, you also have a body of water that holds and stores this rain and within this body of water, there is more plant life as well as different kinds of Amphibious animals that also live and breathe on this planet Earth, that we all share.

There is so much beauty around us, it is just that we don’t take the time to stop and look around at it all, Mayor Menino did just that as he walked the streets of Boston, he also didn’t over look one thing, in order to help another, he showed so much diversity for everything in which he looked at, true we as Human Beings are very unique in our own way, but we are all very similar in that we are Human Beings and walk a path along our journey of life, Mayor Menino saw all the uniqueness within us all and took action to help us all thrive to be better, so the city of Boston can be better for all that come walk their journey’s within it.

Mayor Menino’s funeral was done in a very special way, with close to 1000 people within the church it was full of people from all walks of life, it showed people coming together to celebrate the life of a great man, not just people but a huge diversity of people from, big named politicians, big named sports stars, to just ordinary people from a neighborhood, all coming together for a common cause, this was what Mayor Menino was all about all 20 years of his time in the city of Boston, this was a man that didn’t judge you by your appearance, only saw the good deep within everybody he looked at, every thanksgiving he would go serve the homeless at the shelter, before returning home with his family for his own thanksgiving dinner, he would always travel into the neighborhoods and listen to the people, then took care of what he needed to so the people would be happy everyday, this was Mayor Menno doing what he loved to do.

Most all politicians will say what you want to hear just to get your vote, not Mayor Menino, when he said something he would back it up with actions, because it is what he loved to do, most politicians when they get elected, stay within their office and forget about the ones that put them there, they become engulfed in a world that they portray which is usually a world of make believe and then they keep it going, by becoming something/someone in which they are not, Mayor Menino was real and genuine, which is a trait that today’s politician doesn’t have, Mayor Menino also treated everybody with respect and dignity, which are two things we all as Human Beings are guilty of not doing amongst each other, which explains all the bitterness and hatred that surrounds us today.

Let us all learn from the ways of Mayor Menino and let us all truly see the message he left us from his funeral, when we do it correctly and treat everybody around us with respect and dignity, no matter who or what is around you, all our paths along our journey of life, will be better and stronger moving forward, diversity is all of us as Human Beings, as we are all unique in our own way, but yet very similar as Humans and until we all acknowledge this, there will always be bitterness and hatred around us, it is all up to each of us, to not only love ourselves but to love everybody around us, not just for show or to portray a fake self to others, but to be real and genuine, so the true love pours out of us, even without us truly knowing it is flowing out of us, so all our paths along our journey of life, is full of happiness and strength.

” to be real and genuine will always help us love and see the true beauty of everything around us”

” Diversity is each of us as Human Beings, we may be unique in our own way, but we are all very similar as well”

” respect and dignity will make us all happy, as it keeps us all strong on our paths of our journey of life”

Saying good-bye to a Great Man and a Mayor of Diversity in the City of Boston

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

Mayor Tom Menino was not just the Mayor of the City of Boston, he was a great man that brought diversity to the City, he didn’t want just lip service to do something, he wanted you to back up those words with actions.

Mayor Menino’s last trip through the city he loved, shows the diversity that will ultimately become his legend, people standing side by side from all walks of life, applauding and saying thank you as he drives by in the hearse, these people coming together because of the actions of a great man and Mayor of the city of Boston.

This diversity shows even bigger inside the church, which will hold his service and is the same church that baptized him as a young boy, you have a wide variety of diversity inside the church, all by invitation only, handpicked by the Mayor himself before he passed, these people inside are from all walks of life, the Mayor didn’t care who you were, as he treated and judged everybody as equals, when you were hurt and in need of support, it was Mayor Menino that would always show up and reached out his hand to you in support for what ever you needed, the Mayor held everybody accountable of their words to bring them to action, he was the type of person that he didn’t just talk the talk, he also walked the walk and expected everybody around him to do the same.

Mayor Menino was a Human Being as we all are Human Beings that walk a journey through life, if we all showed just 10% of the Mayor’s qualities, this planet Earth in which we all walk our journey’s, would be more of love of one another, instead of all the bickering and hate that surrounds us now, Mayor Menino was a special man, a man that would always listen and reach out to show support for you, when he said he would do something, he did what he said, he also didn’t care where you were from, or who you were, he always looked at his fellow man as an equal and someone that was walking a journey through life, as he walked his journey through his life, he walked his journey as his favorite song would say “I did it my way”, sung by the late Frank Sinatra.

Mayor Menino you will always have a place in all our hearts and hopefully we all can see your true message of your journey, as we move forward showing this message, by reaching out a helping hand to one another, by showing more love of one another no matter who you are, or what walk of life you come from, Mayor Menino did this everyday of his journey and he did it like the song, ” I did it my way”.

May you RIP Mayor Menino and thank you for all you did, for everybody of the city of Boston.

” respect and dignity goes a long way on our journey of life, it is time we all see just how far they will take us”

” Diversity is each and every one of us as Human Beings that walk this Earth, we are all unique in our own way, but yet very equal as Human beings that walk a journey through life”
