“Help me, Lord, not to allow the clouds of the day prevent me from seeking your face. May I, like Moses, be bold enough to approach the thick darkness if that is where your presence is found”
” They looked… and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud”
We all walk a path through this journey of life, each of us as we walk our paths will experience the darkness of the clouds from time to time and some may struggle, while others simply flow through the clouds. The clouds at times are really thick and dark, as the light may seem like it is not passing through them? But as we tend to fear the darkness, we over look the fact that Jesus is the light and he is seeing us through the thick dark clouds to watch over us as we try to keep moving forward in the darkness. Jesus will send us signs through the darkness, but it is up to us to see these signs, no matter how dark or how thick the clouds may seem.
Sometimes throughout this journey we all get discouraged, we all will have these life events that may derail us, we all will stumble, trip and fall along our paths and this will bring us much pain and hurt, the pain and hurt will leave scars, yes, but those scars do not have to dictate, how we then move forward throughout the rest of our journey’s. The scars are there to remind us what was? So we than can move forward with confidence to be better and stronger, but unfortunatly, we don’t let the scars heal properly and we then continue to struggle, as we then become someone for who we truly are not.
Even Jesus experienced the darkness within the clouds, as Satan himself came to him and tempted him to come to the side of the darkness, we to get tempted in many ways, but unlike Jesus with his confidence and the light of his father, we get caught up within the thick dark clouds, we let the fear of the dark overwhelm us, and we then let the power of temptation suck us into it’s grip, as the claws dig in never letting us go. The darkness may be scary, yes, but if we truly keep the faith in ourselves and the faith in Jesus Christ our saviour, then there will always be hope each and every day as we walk our paths through this journey of life. It is the faith and the hope that guide us through the darkness, regardless of how thick or how dark the clouds may be, it is the faith and the hope that keep us from getting to deep within the fear of the darkness. Jesus had that faith in his father and himself, which then gave him the hope to keep moving forward, as he then shared his love with us all, showing us of how to walk our paths and leading us to the path of righteousness, that is full of the light of God, above all the clouds and away from the darkness and the fear. Know matter how thick the clouds, no matter how dark the clouds may look with no light streaming through them, the fear will then come to us in order to control us into becoming someone who we truly are not, thats where the confidence in ourselves comes in and helps us keep the faith, so the hope everyday will always help heal the scars, that will keep us better and stronger, throughout this journey of life, as we walk our paths with as little pain and hurt as we can.
” Temptation is the root to all the evil as it will have us become someone for who we are not”
” Pain and hurt will bring us discouragment, but faith and hope will lead us to the light and peace”
