The Clouds of constant Change…….

” Just as the clouds in the sky change, so do we change, things around us change, circumstances change, fashions change, but through change done correctly, change can make us all better and stronger moving forward”

*** Bowlingchef***

With each passing storm, to the clear blue sky, the clouds will change into many formations even as we gaze into the wild blue yonder. Change will affect us in many ways, whether being positive or negative, but even through negative change, when we adapt properly to the change, we can change the change into a positive, to move forward better and stronger.

Very true when we are set in our ways, it makes us struggle to accept any change, we become depressed, we become very negative of everything around us, we get angry of everything, then stew within our own anger, but the biggest thing we do is, even without realizing of what we are doing, we lose focus of who we truly are, we become lost along our paths of this journey through life, then we through the depression part we make ourselves sick, of which we then let it affect the way we treat others.

A lot of times we have no control over change, which is the biggest thing that we tend to not accept of it, especially within this broken society, when we lose control of anything, we then become angry of anyone and everything around us. But if only we take the change in moderation, learn to accept it as it comes and then fix what we need to fix, so we than can accept and let the change flow as natural as it may, so we can walk our paths of this journey, as smoothly as we can.

The journey of life is not always smooth or walked down a prim rose path, it will throw you many curve balls, as you need to learn to adjust your swing, to hit the ball out of the park. The journey will have many bumps along the paths, that will bruise you and knock you down, but the best way of healing yourself from the pain and hurt of the knockdown is, all about the way you get up from the fall and keep moving forward along your path of this journey through life. Being able to adjust and adapt to any kind of change, will go along way toward reaching your destination of this journey and for most, the destination is to reach the path of righteousness, for which Jesus taught us, when he came to us and showed us how to walk our paths through this journey of life.

There is a big difference between right and wrong and when we are out of focus, because we let change take our focus away, we then lose our direction as we try to reach our destination along our paths, which is reaching the path of righteousness. Within this broken Society only proves, that many have lost their focus along their paths, which has us all walking in circles instead of in any certain direction, it is easy to just make a choice, but when that choice is either right or wrong and within the clouds of our judgments, shows just how easy it is to become lost within this journey. Which then takes away the peace and happiness, of all our paths, through this journey of life.

” As the clouds form, so do we within all the changes all around us”

” The changes of life do not have to define us, if only we keep the focus along this journey though life”

” The journey of life is not always full of roses and smooth as silk, but with our focus and within proper change, we can be as peaceful and happy as we want to be”

” As we walk our paths correctly accepting change, we will find true peace and happiness”

2015 Boston Bruins… a team needing of an identity.

Now that the 2015 season for the Boston Bruins has come to a close and without a playoff appearance for the first time in the era of Claude Julien, it is time to re-tool this team for yet another run at Lord Stanley cup.
The biggest thing this team needs is an identity, without an identity, you are a team in disarray with nothing but chaos in front of you. Before the season of 2015 even started and the loss of Jonny Boychuk, simply because Peter Chirelli needed to free up some cap space? Now you have a team not knowing who’s next and a team who just lost a big part of it’s identity. Seriously though this whole identity problem started when they let Andrew Ference go to the Edmonton Oilers.
Andrew Ference may not have been the most talented I get that, but what he brought to the team in the form of an identity and team chemistry, goes a lot deeper than shooting a puck into any net at any rink you may be in. You don’t really need one player with 40 or 50 plus goals on the team, what you really need is, many players on the team with 20 plus and play hard every night, not only for themselves, but for each other on the team, the Bruins had this in 2011 and winning the Stanley cup, was a great reward for all their hard work.
Now that we mentioned Boychuk and Ference, another part of the Bruins identity and chemistry of this team was Sean Thorton, Sean didn’t just throw down the gloves for any fight, he knew when to throw the gloves and when to skate hard for the team, he was a huge part in the identity of this team and a part when you take that away, you have nothing but chaos and doubt.
Brad Marchand…… Ok I will give him do for his 24 goals this season, but that is it, he actually hurt the team more with his stupid play and dumb penelties at the wrong times, Marshy unlike Thorty did not know how to bring this identity and chemistry to the team, instead the team was in his way, for what he needed to do so he could pad his own stats. The reputation of Brad Marchand and the nickname ” the little ball of hate”, has become bigger than Brad Marchand the skater, with that said Marchands welcome mat has disappeared and time to let him go.
I get the fact the team of the Boston Bruins needs some changing, so they can compete moving forward in the NHL. Unlike some that think the Coach is first to go, I strongly disagree, cause Claude Julien coached this team to the best of his abilities and according to the team that was given to him by the GM Peter Chirelli and Chirelli only subtracted from this team, instead of adding in order to be better moving forward. Bringing up Kids from Providence isn’t always the answer when you lose quality players like Boychuk, Thorton and Ference, not too mention losing Chara and Kretchi to injuries for extended periods, when you have a coach like Claude and his system of Defense first, which you need all players of the roster to buy into the system, than you bring in young kids that only want to play in the NHL and get paid, now you have a team not buying into the system, that brought you success in 2011.
The first change of the Bruins would be Peter Chirelli, as he did nothing but subtract and give players ridiculous contracts, instead of adding quality players that would buy into the system in place and form a team identity, then form a bond and chemistry to their new teammates. the one player to me that is untouchable is, Patrice Burgeron, as he truly bleeds black and gold. other players that I wouldn’t touch goes as follows, Lucic, Kretchi, Soderberg, Eriksson, Pasternak,, Spooner and to rebuild the 4th line around Ferlin and Paille, everybody else is fair game in trade or the free agent market. It is time the Bruins put back in place, the system of Claude Julien, which worked in 2011 and can work in 2016, all you need is a team to buy into the system, and players that buy into each other with an identity and a chemistry. It is not about having one 40 or 50 goal scorer on your team ( although it would be nice), it is all about having many 20 plus goal scorers and a team that buys into the system, plays together with a chemistry for each other, plus strives for that identity that will bring them to the promise land, of once again bringing home to Boston, Lord Stanley cup.

” Hockey is a game that an Individual doesn’t win you a championship, it is all about the team and having a good identity of who you are”

” Patrice Bergeron may bleed black and gold, you give me an entire team of Patrice Bergeron’s and I will bring home a championship every year”

” The problem of the Boston Bruins does not start with Claude Julien. it starts with the subtracting of players, with no quality additions, by the GM Peter Chirelli”

Ye of little faith Bruins fans………

These Boston Bruins this season of 2015, are a competitive group of guys and can compete with any team. The problem lies with injuries of key players at the wrong times and now that you are forced to bring guys up from the farm club to fill in, gets you away from believing in and trusting the system put in place by the coach. This system of the coach works and is proven, when they won Lord Stanley in 2011, the only way it works 100% is, the players have to bye in and execute, when you have multiple players coming up from the farm club, all they want to do is prove they are worthy of staying and do not bye in 100% to the system, this causes a bit of team doubt and chaos throughout the entire team.

Claude Julien is proven that he is a great coach and has become one of the Bruins best coaches of my lifetime. His system when the players bye in, is keep everything to the outside, let the Goalie see the shot and control the neutral zone. The hardest part of the system is, finding the right players to bye in, finding players who develop a bond and chemistry with each other, not players who only think of Individual stats. Players like Patrice Bergeron are perfect examples of a player that has bought in to the system and uses it to achieve greatness and respect throughout the league.

The system of Claude Julien is defense first, true it may be a boring system, with no big production on offensive, but when you believe and trust the system, play good solid defense, this is what creates the offense. Control the neutral zone and take advantage of your opportunities with good play making, this is what turns to goals and offense. Now true that there are some issues and things that need to change, in order to keep this team competitive moving forward, it all starts with the GM in Peter Chirelli. Peter has not done enough to give the coach enough to work with, in the type of player needed to make the system work.

The changes to this team have to be the type of players that not only bye into the system of the coach, but players that will bond with and develop a chemistry with each other, not a player who only plays for his own stats. The Bruins have a few good players within theĀ  core of the team in which to rebuild, players like Rask, Bergeron, Lucic, Kretchi, Kelly, Soderberg, Paille and Talbot, with young talent in Pasternak, Spooner and Ferlin to start with and building a great team around them. You don’t always need the Worlds best goal scorer to solve your offensive whoa’s, the Capitals with Ovetchkin proves this theory, you need four solid lines that bye into the system, play at a high level, every second they are on the ice and for one another. In 2011 the Bruins had multiple players with 20+ goals, not one player with 50+, this is how you become competitive and hard for any team to compete against you.

The Stanley cup is the hardest to win and most prestigious trophy in all of sports. When you are able to lift the trophy as a champion, not only have you earned it, but you earned it with your “teammates” by your side. Hockey is not an Individual sport, it is all about team and players playing for each other. When you have a team with a good bond of each other and have a chemistry of each other, now you have a team of greatness, not too mention having bought into the system of the coach, when you play as a team, trust in your abilities and the system put forth in front of you, trust in your teammates with a chemistry of each other, now you have a true team, that can compete at a high level, to achieve the most prestigious trophy of all sports, the Stanley cup, not to mention being a true Champion of the sport you love and play.

” Hockey is a sport where all involved have to be on the same page with, a bond and chemistry for each other”

” Hockey is a sport where an Individual might win you a game, but never a championship”

” Trust, chemistry and a team bond is a huge part of any championship hockey team, to be able to hoist Lords Stanley cup”
