Camping season….a time for peace and serenity

With the up coming weather of the next couple days and the amount of snow they are predicting for the North East, right around the corner and waiting for us outdoors type, is the coming of camping season, with all the peace and serenity you need, to clear your head from all the crap and get yourself out from Winter’s coma, so you can get back to being of truly who you are and escaping the daily grind, to refuel and recharge.

With campsites like this and the need of a boat to get to it, you can have all the peace and serenity you need. Stepping out of the tent in the morning and brewing the coffee, as you sit lazily by the water, to listen to the beauty all around you, plus watch and listen to all the animals wake to the morning with you. Listening to the Loons if you have never heard them? Is a beauty of it’s own to listen to. Watching the Eagles fly over head as they look within the water for their morning meal, maybe a Moose coming to the water’s edge, for it’s daily splash, OH!!! and watch out for the Bear also, just stay at a safe distance to watch their daily routine also. This is all the true beauty within Nature, of which you will never see, if you just stay within the city lights.

Some may go to a campsite and say they are camping in their trailers, yes you are in the woods, but you are on wheels and within a campground with others around. The true peace and serenity is camping deep within the woods, where your technology doesn’t work, so you can be one with Nature and the surroundings around you. When you sit by the fire and hear the crackling of the fire and all the sounds of Nature around you, without any people noises interrupting you, now you can truly clear your mind, body and soul from all the crap, then replace it true beauty. Relaxation at it’s finest as you sit within nature deep within the woods, sitting by a crackling fire, while you let all the daily grind and the stress from that grind, flow completely out from your body, so you than can truly refuel and recharge.

Some may say it is too much work to set up all that equipment for a few days, but if you just look at it as fun to get out within Nature, you will never look at it as work, only as, setting up your own personal spot, full of peace and serenity. I know some may complain of the snow that have been predicted for the next couple days, so if you break down each year to within four seasons as it truly is already, then you will find that getting through a season you may not care for, will only be temporary, til the season comes once again that you enjoy tremendously. Camping season for me lasts three of the four seasons, so getting through one season don’t seem as bad, as some would like to think, as for a few short months of snow and cold, will soon enough break, so camping season will be front and center once again.

The Forest, the plant life, the lakes and the streams, the mountains, the cool brisk morning air, giving away to the sunshine of the day, the tent, the camp fire and the setting up of the camp site, now your being one with Nature to unwind and clear your head of all the crap, then you can totally relax your mind, body and soul, so you can truly recharge and refuel, to move forward along your path better and stronger, throughout this journey of life.

” Being one with Nature will help you find the true peace and serenity throughout this journey”

” The nature walks, the camp fire and the sounds of nature, just what the doctor ordered, to fix yourself and recharge your batteries”

” Camping inside of a tent is not so bad, especially when you have a cot within the tent”

” The camp fire is not just too keep you warm from the brisk night sky, it is the ambiance of the whole camping experience”

The view from the Eagles eyes……..

I sit up here on my perfect resting spot and look down upon all the ugliness beneath me and totally wonder why would Jesus let this crap keep happening to the creation of his father? Why can’t those people down below simply just get along? There is so much hatred down below, I am glad I am up here away from all their crap, where I can be free to fly the skies and escape from all their hatred and ugliness.

I may be the National bird and symbol of this country, but right now I am totally embarrassed, for the way those people down below are not only treating each other, but show no respect for anything around them. They all lack discipline,  because without it they have zero sense of direction and no clue of where to turn. From what I see each one of them has their own issues for which to deal with, but instead of dealing with what they need, they then deflect the issues onto others and blame everything around them, without actually taking any responsibility for their own actions.

Now at first glance some may think we are free and fly around with no issues, on the contrary, we also raise our young as those down below the difference is, we actually teach them so they can fend for themselves when they reach a certain age. We build our nests that become our home for our young and we go out to gather food, so they can grow and become stronger, being this high up we deal with all weather issues from small storms to large ones and still we survive and move forward. This country from our vantage point is still a great country, just that it needs some tweaking, so all the people down below can come together in unity, instead of attacking one another at every turn.

Some may look up at us the Eagles and think of how beautiful we look and care free as we fly through the sky, but not one actually thinks of our feelings or worse, they probably don’t think we have any feelings?  That is simply because those down below are wound so tight, that they have suppressed their true feelings very deep within themselves. Every living thing has feelings, these feelings are within your hearts and souls and each of us including all you down below, whether you want to accept it or not, actually do have a heart and a soul. Life is a journey for all of us, you down below walk a path, we Eagles up above fly the open skies, the fish swim through the water, no matter of how you travel, the journey is all the same and we all travel through it in our own ways.

As I sit up here and look down on those who walk their paths, I cry real tears for what I see and how they treat each other down below, I feel my true empathy and wish Jesus would waive his hand over all, so everybody could just simply get along and stop attacking one another. If only those down below would get back in touch with their true empathy, just maybe all this hatred and ugliness would disappear?

The movie Forest Gump has one of the best lines, if not the best, ” Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you will get”, This is so true and as you walk your paths, you just never know what is around the corner, til you actually get there and turn the corner. Life is like that and you have to be ready for anything, we all have our issues and need to understand that, understand the issues that come to us, then fix what we need to fix, so we can move forward stronger and better, this is how we the Eagles fly the open skies and look to all that see us, as if we are care free, we are only care free because we work at being this way, which is something those down below do not do, simply because they are wound to tight, from all the hatred and the ugliness around them.

” The view from the Eagles perch is the true birds eye view at all that is around them”

” You never know what is lurking around each turn, til you actually get there and take the turn in front of you”

” The Eagle soars high above as he looks down on all below, with beauty and grace”

” To cry real tears is not a sign of weakness as it only heals you from your sorrows and makes you stronger at all the turns”

True Primitive camping

” Claim your own little Island for a week of true primitive camping, for a real adventure of rest and relaxation”

Your own piece of solitude for a short time to enjoy and see the true beauty all around you everyday. Throughout the Northern woods of Maine there are plenty of different sizes of lakes and ponds, all over these bodies of water there are different size islands everywhere, some already have camps on them, but there are still a lot that are uninhabited. All that is needed is a sense of adventure and a boat to gather your gear, for a great week of true primitive camping.

No electricity, no running water and make your heat by building a campfire, some may say no way? But yet there are others that will jump at the chance to completely get away from all the crap that surrounds them within this Society. Once you get to your Island, search for the perfect spot to set your camp, then set up camp and gather enough wood for the fire and chop the bigger logs into smaller logs for the fire to burn for hours, the rest is just maintaining, while you completely enjoy your home away from home, or your own piece of peace and serenity.

As you wake at the break of dawn, you can put a pot of coffee on the fire, place a camp chair on the side of the island that gives you the best vantage point, for viewing a beautiful sunrise and watch the sun wake up with you. Maybe if your lucky enough see a Moose or a Bear by the waters edge, fishing for their breakfast, or even bathing in the water? Then as you look out into the lake, maybe even seeing an Eagle diving into the water for its breakfast as well, this is what true beauty really is and why God created this Earth, so we can all enjoy it’s true beauty every where we turn.

Throughout this Society we get so engulfed within the crap and the working to make ends meet, that we totally forget about the real true beauty that is around us. We forget how to truly live and explore deeply what is around us, simply because through the crap brings us pain and hurt, which has us staying within a comfortable rut that we know, in order to keep the pain and hurt from growing bigger and hurting even more than we like. As we get stuck within the rut we then throw away the ladder, so we can’t get out to explore the true beauty that is around us.

Now as we explore our little Island and become familiar with our surroundings, we notice that the sun has moved across the sky, to the other side of the island. We then go grab the camp chair and place it at the best vantage point to see a beautiful sunset and have our breathe taken away, from the beauty before our eyes. As the sun sets we then turn to the campfire and stoke it for the cool night that has come upon us. Now as we sit by the fire staring deeply into the glowing coals, every now and then we look to the night sky and look at all the stars throughout the sky, this is a sight we can not see in the city lights back home, so we now see something very different as we now try to name the stars and planets that we do know. While sitting beneath the night sky and listening to the quietness all around us, we suddenly hear a few Loons chatting to each other, maybe a few coyotes howling to the moon, or even some Owl’s chatting to each other from one side of the lake to the other? the beauty of true primitive camping is upon us and as we sit back in our chairs in front of the fire, we totally become relaxed and fully enjoy our own little Island, which we only thought before within our dreams, sleeping in our beds within our homes.

” An Island of dreams can truly become a reality if we want it to and when we are ready to explore and take on some true primitive camping”

” Some may say no to the world of true primitive camping, but they truly don’t know what they are missing”

” To us primitive camping is a lot of hard work, but for the ones like the Native American Indian, it was a way of life and survival”

Like sand in the hour glass……..the sunrise through time

Tree          Sunrise is the most beautiful time of the day, as it is the time to wake up and start a new day. Like the sunset is the ending of the day and just as beautiful, the sunrise is the start of the ending each and everyday. We in today’s Society take so much for granted, with each sunrise and sunset being the biggest thing we take for granted. Without a sunrise you can’t have a sunset and without a sunrise nothing will ever wake up to start a new.

You can see in this picture how the sun wakes up and clears the overnight dew from the tree, as you can see the sun winking between the limbs. The sun brings the light so all can breathe, wake up and feel alive to start fresh each and every day. Then at the end of the day, the sun sets, for some much needed rest from the energy it burns in bringing the light to all that it shines on. Just as the sun sets for it’s much needed rest, we all throughout Society, the tree’s and all other forms of life, will also get some needed rest, unless your a night Owl that enjoys burning the midnight oil.

You need to get away from the city lights and all the commotion that the city brings, so you can see the true beauty of each sunrise and sunset. Which is why I enjoy true Wilderness camping and I recommend that all should try it as well, yes true Wilderness camping means no cell phones or techy devices, as none of that will get any signal for you to use, which means total relaxation and enjoying all the true beauty that is around you. After the sun has set, it is time to sit by the campfire and get mesmerized by the burning coals, the glow of the of the coals on the bottom and the quivering flames above, is better than Yoga to clear your mind and totally relax your whole body and sole. Ah!!! how relaxed I am just thinking of this beauty, with no city lights, or sounds of a beeping horn and siren of the emergency vehicles.

To some this type of camping is too remote, as you have no electricity or running water to flush a toilet, but to a true camper, this is paradise and total relaxation. True in this Society we have forgotten how to live in remote places as this, but at the beginning of Mankind, this was the only way in which too live.

There is nothing like camping in the wilderness at the foot of a pond, waking up before the sun and jumping into a canoe or a kayak, paddling out to the middle of the pond and watching the sun wake up, what great pictures this makes, not too mention if your lucky enough, you will also see some American Bald Eagles diving into the water around you, in search for their daily breakfast. Then as everything wakes up around you during the sunrise, break out the fishing pole, to catch you some fresh catch of the day, to enjoy by the campfire later in the day. Fishing is another great way to unwind and relax and as you wait for the fish to bite, you can look around at all of Natures beauty that is around you.

We throughout Society take so much for granted, but nothing more than the sunrises and sunsets of each day. We all walk a path through this journey of life, within this fast paced Society of today, we don’t take the time to stop and enjoy what is around us, stop and smell the flowers of life, stop and enjoy watching the sun wake up with each sunrise, we don’t know how to truly relax anymore, as we all are wound up and uptight every minute of the day. The journey of life to some is short, to others is long, but if we don’t enjoy this journey while we are here, then this journey will be wasted time and full of regrets.

” Sunrise is the waking up of everything around you, sunset is when all gets some much needed rest, we throughout mankind take these for granted, cause we don’t stop to enjoy what is around you”

” There is always an ending within this journey through life, but what we over look is, there is always a new beginning that comes from all the endings”

” As the sunrise comes it is the most calm part of the day, but if you don’t wake up to see it, then this calmness will pass you by”
