Escape within the beauty of Mother Nature

The quiet serenity and beauty all around you, that is exactly what escaping within Mother Nature is all about. Leaving the daily grind even if it is for a short time, it is time much needed with all the drama and ugliness within the daily grind. Camping season is right around the corner and having reservations for a camp site on Memorial weekend, I simply can not wait to unwind and totally relax within the beauty of Mother Nature.

The beach in this picture may be a bit rocky, but it is a beach that you can enjoy all to yourself, a beach to sit and watch the Eagles fly by and on occasion, swoop down into the water for it’s daily meal. Then there is the Loon swimming by as it sings back and forth with other Loons, what a beautiful sound to just sit and relax, as you listen to them in their habitat. Then if your lucky enough without being to noisy, a friendly Moose will come out of the woods to the lake shore, for a drink and a bath. Now let’s not forget all the different sounds you hear within woods behind you, some sounds you would normally never hear within the daily grind, Mother Nature is pure beauty and never ever forget!!! You are now within the homes of the animal kingdom, which you need to respect, just like you would want others to respect your home as they come to visit you.

As quiet as this picture is, it is really this quiet as you sit on this rocky beach in person, while you sit in your comfy chair on this beach and take in all the beauty around you, you will actually feel the stress of the daily grind leave your body, the clouds of your judgment, will become clear as you look out within the beauty, the transition from the daily grind, to the beauty of Mother Nature is the most beautiful thing and we all need more of it.

When you take to the outdoors and within the beauty of Mother Nature, you also have to explore and see things you never will see within the daily grind, when I lived in the great state of Colorado, I had a 4×4 pick up and would venture in the back country and as high as 13,000 feet on a mountain, the beauty I would come across would take your breathe away, plus from time to time, come across a few Ghost towns, dating back in time from the gold rush days, I would stop and get out of the truck to walk around these towns, as I then would gain a big respect for those of our past, seeing that a lot of the buildings were still standing strong today. I would also come across some animals I would never see otherwise as they lived within the high country, like the Doll sheep, and the Ram sheep, even mountain lion and antelope, plus some pretty big bull Elk, it is so beautiful to see these kind of animals in their elements. I came across this herd of Ram sheep one time, as some where actually ramming each other with the horns, I must say I was getting a headache watching this, as in the daily grind you would never get a chance to see this at all.

There is so much to the beauty of Mother Nature and unless you get out and explore this beauty, you will never see or witness this beauty, from the daily grind that we all get caught up within. We all walk a path through this journey of life, we all become too programmed within our daily grinds, to the point that some never get out to see the true beauty of Mother Nature, When you think about it……………. That is too sad because, we then become too tense and have no idea of what truly relaxing really is. When we are too tense that is when we bring all the ugliness we see today to each other, we then think that this is the norm? This is not truly of who we are, who we truly are…………….. Are people with love in our hearts that keeps us warm inside, when we become too tense, we then never truly feel the warmth of this love and then never share it with each other. The warmth of the love within your heart, is Jesus Christ our savior and his love for us, he loves us all deeply and equally, no matter of who you are, we within today’s daily grind, never give ourselves a chance to truly feel this love, as we become so engulfed, within the ugliness and hatred of today.

” Escape to the beauty of mother nature, to truly relax and get back in touch with the warmth of love within your heart from Jesus Christ”

” The rocky beach at first glance may look rough, but it’s true beauty will surround you with plenty of peace and serenity”

” The sounds of mother nature will totally relax you, as the stress of the daily grind will melt from your mind, body and soul”

” It may be a ghost town now, but at one point it was a bustling little town, full of joy, happiness and love”

The Hidden trail……….

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

The Hidden trail within Nature is only hidden if you don’t go out and explore what is around you. As you walk along trails like this, you just don’t know what lurks in your path? The trail is hidden deep within the woods and as you venture out on one trail, you just may come across many more like it, along your journey within Nature.

The wooden trail deep within the woods may scare some to not walking it, as they may not want to become lost in a place they are not familiar with, but that is part of the fun and having a good sense of direction and a knack of looking toward the sky and knowing where to go, as the position of the sun sets your course, this is what’s so intriguing about these kinds of trails, which then when you make it back to your camp site, now you have a sense of accomplishment that makes you feel good about yourself.

While walking along these trails you are within the homes of many animal life and plant life, to see some of these animals and plants you normally do not see, this is the exciting part of the trail, it makes for an interesting walk that has you looking deeply into what you see. Unlike our normal run of the mill walks within our neighborhoods, or maybe a lunch walk at work, it is awesome to get out and explore, just to see things you normally would never see. The biggest problem with this Society is, we don’t get away from our daily grind enough, so we can truly unwind and relax away the stress of the grind, instead we let the grind dictate our actions, which in a lot of cases, has us becoming someone we truly are not.

A nice walk within Nature and along the beauty of a hidden trail, in a lot of ways is better than the therapy you may pay for, as it is a natural type of therapy that soothes the soul and helps you breathe in fresh quality air, now don’t get me wrong it is nice to have someone to talk with to unload some of the daily grind, but it is also good to get out and explore things you normally would never explore, which then has you see what true beauty is and being one with Nature, now you can actually feel the stress of the daily grind, just lift out of your body, leaving you feeling lighter and more relaxed.

The hidden trail may not be that hidden in reality, but to you it is hidden, as it is the first time you have walked this trail, leaving you with a good feeling of accomplishment. Plus the setting up of a camp site, giving you a place to sleep within Nature as well as cook a meal over the open fire and the getting away from the daily grind for a short time, not only does this make you lose the time of day, now you become totally relaxed with the worries of the grind melting away from your brain, leaving you even more relaxed and a feeling like you will never feel, when you are within the daily grind and feeling like a robot that doesn’t stop. There is more to this journey of life than the nine to five daily grind, you just have to go out and find that trail, find that camp site, so you than can be truly of who you are, let the stress leave your body, so you than can be totally relaxed to enjoy your path through this journey of life.

” The hidden trail is not so hidden while you walk within it and explore all that is around you”

” A walk within nature is good for the soul and helps you unwind from the daily grind of the nine to fives”

” Go out and explore something new, as you never know what you may see or find, which will help you totally relax and truly be of who you are”

” The beauty of Nature is a great way to find that free therapy, to help you unload the stress to feel lighter and relaxed”

A Society that has lost it’s way along this journey of life………..

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

This picture is cool to look at in so many different ways, but what this picture truly shows is when you look deeply into what you see, is the fact that these logs that lay underneath the roots from an old stump, are a look into the past of what yesteryear was like for a whole different Society.

These logs lay on the shore of one of the many ponds within the state of Maine, the pond’s water level is determined by a dam on one end controlled by a power company. Now back in the day of the Lumber Jack, they would chop the tree’s down that were going to a mill to be milled into 2×4’s or planks to be marketed at a lumber yard. So they would use the pond to move large quantities to a certain location, where either the mill was, or a truck was, that a tractor would place onto the truck from the water, in today’s world it is a bit more sophisticated, with big machinery, that clears one lot, then moves on to another lot.

Now the dam on one end of the pond is controlled by a Hydro power company, that will open and close the dam to determine the amount of power they convert, which then will increase or decrease the level of water in the pond. Now when the water is at it’s lowest level, the vegetation around the shore now becomes exposed to great amounts of sun light, which then dries out the the vegetation and tree’s alike. A lot of it dies off and then when the dam is closed, the water rises as then the dead wood gets covered and saturated with water, which then has it floating aimlessly around the pond.

You can clearly see just how smooth this stump and logs are, from the time it spent within the water and became saturated, now that it has become dried out from the sunlight, it has become very smooth like drift wood along a beach. Some of it like this stump and  it’s roots, have a unique shape to it, which will then have each of us that look at it and perceive many things out of it’s shape. Perception is what we as Humans do and at times with our perceptions, we tend to perceive things we really don’t understand and then our perceptions become tainted and misguided. Our perception of things around us can be our greatest asset, but when the perception is mislead or misguided, now it becomes an issue of not truly seeing or looking deeply into what you see. One may look at this stump and see one thing from it’s roots, while another will see something totally different? That is fine and nothing wrong with that, but when someone tries to force us into seeing what they see, now you are getting into a dangerous area of, trying to control and be more powerful with your perception, over the perceptions of everybody around you.

With all the school shootings lately over the last few years, We all get caught up in the ” Gun control” debate………… It is really nothing to do with Gun control as we may perceive? It is really a People issue and how we perceive the issue around us. We tend to take the easy way out of everything, as we have become too lazy to actually work at changing what we need. The gun laws are in place, as well as the background checks, they just have to be enforced and not treated by the ones that sell the guns, as merely a way to put more greed into their pockets, plus anybody that will actually fire upon another Human, has some kind of red flag waiving over their their head, that the rest of us are ignoring and turning away from instead of recognizing. It is a combination between  us not identifying the red flags and not having enough places for these people to go and receive the proper help, before they escalate into taking such abrasive and ugly actions.

We have all had these red flags at different times in our lives, we all deal differently of the flags, others around us would help us and not turn their backs on us when they see the flags? The red flags are the warning signs to our behavior, whether the behavior is good or bad, they still need to be addressed, before the flag wraps us within the confines of our actions. Back through the many years and Societies that have given us the schools, to ready us for the future, there has been what we call a ” bully”, these Individuals just to try to make themselves seem more powerful than those around them, they would inflict fear on their Victim/Victims. While inflicting the fear a Bully most always has a hidden fear within themselves they are hiding. Now we as the people of this Society and where we are disconnected are, who really are to blame for the actions within the schools? Some may say the Guns because it is an easy target, but in reality it boils down to the Parents and the Teacher’s, plus the whole Faculty of the schools, as the children do spend a lot of time there, where the Parents have entrusted these people within the schools, to protect and watch over their children. The Faculty needs to be trained better at not just identifying the red flags, but how to deal with the red flags, then pass the training to the Teacher’s and also the biggest area for whom should be identifying the red flags are, within the walls of the household, where the children are being raised and that goes to the Parents, who not only have given birth to the children, but raise these children to be better and stronger moving forward.

With all the red flags out there in this Society, it is time we raise the white flag to surrender from all our troubles, help ourselves as well as each other, instead of turning our backs and burying deeply within our troubles, which does nothing but fester inside, til one day we explode from all the suppression’s. Yes we the people are what’s wrong within the Society of today and until we the people come together in unity, come together showing more love and empathy for each other, instead of turning our backs or pointing our fingers of blame at each other, then the problem of the red flags will never go away, which will then have us all, never finding the true path of righteousness that Jesus showed us, which then will lead us to true happiness and true peace, with all the ugliness around us disappearing from all our paths we walk, through this journey of life.

” We the people are what’s wrong with this society and we the people can fix this society to be better and stronger”

” There are many flags throughout this society. but none as important as the red flag to recognize and fix what needs to be fixed to make the red flags disappear”

” The many perceptions of the many things around us, which is why we need to understand better our perceptions”

” Love and empathy and us the people coming together in unity, is what is needed to help keep the red flags from destroying all that is around us”

” Change comes to each of us daily, time we adapt properly to the change, so we all can move forward in the peace and happiness that we are missing”

An uncharted beach for true relaxation

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

I am the Rocky shore of a beach along a pond, right smack in the middle of no where. I am a place to go when you want true peace and serenity, when everybody else goes to the crowded beach along the shore of an ocean. where you have to worry more of being ripped off, than getting truly relaxed, I am the place to go to truly get away and truly enter into the doors of true peace and serenity, where part of the beauty I hold is listening to the Maine state bird the Loon, sing their music and chat back and forth along the water of the pond, or maybe a Moose walking along the beach and coming to the water for it’s daily splash. This is all about being one with Nature, enjoying all of it’s beauty with no interruptions, so you than can totally relax your mind, body and soul, which cures you from the daily grind full of nothing but chaos and stress.

Simply set up your comfy camp chair along my rocky surface, no radio’s or cellphone needed, just sit there look out deeply into the blue water, where it meets the horizon and the sky, let it hypnotize you into true peace and serenity, while you hear nothing but the true sounds of Nature and what is around at this time? Now you are entering into not a twilight zone, but a zone that is within true reality, that will transform you, that will lift those heavy weights from your shoulders, that will cleanse you from all the crap, so you than can totally relax and unwind from the daily grind, which will then help you walk your path of this journey, within the peace and serenity you long for.

Those deep colored blue clouds above, yes they look a bit thunderous?  But as you look deeply into them with no worry of what they may hold, you can clearly see not just of which direction they are traveling, but just how fast they are traveling over head. This helps in determining whether you need to duck under the shelter, or just stay put and keep enjoying the true beauty around you. As you look deeply into the clouds above, you notice the rays of the sun leaking in between the cracks of the clouds, as well as all the different formations of the clouds, then you see it!!! You see that one shape or that one formation, that you never see, because you really never before look that deeply into anything before, this is what happens when you clear yourself of all the crap, become one with your surroundings and let the good overwhelm the evil within you.

You see that thickly green Forest on the other shore across from you, When you look deeply into the other side, you just may see another of God’s creatures come to you, you stare across at the thick Forest and wonder what lurks deep within it? Now as you stare within the thick Forest, what you don’t realize at the time is, all the crap and stress within you is leaving, as you now focus on something intriguing. You then notice that the water before you is getting a bit rough, with the white tops of the waves, but still no concern for alarm, as you are so hypnotized of your surroundings and are so relaxed, you really don’t care of what may come, because your thoughts have become consumed by more positive then negative, which then has you in a space that you do not want to leave. The beauty of the Rocky shore within that uncharted beach, where only a few may have traveled to and with those few, they are the ones that have found the true beauty within all the paths, of this journey through life.

” That uncharted rocky beach may look rough at first sight, but look deeply into what you see and truly see all the beauty within it”

” Look deeply into this picture and truly see the true colors of this journey through life”

” When you transform yourself and be who you truly are, then all the weights from this ugly society will be lifted helping you see the good society within it”

” No radio’s or cellphones required in order to see all the true beauty that is around you”

Camping season….a time for peace and serenity

With the up coming weather of the next couple days and the amount of snow they are predicting for the North East, right around the corner and waiting for us outdoors type, is the coming of camping season, with all the peace and serenity you need, to clear your head from all the crap and get yourself out from Winter’s coma, so you can get back to being of truly who you are and escaping the daily grind, to refuel and recharge.

With campsites like this and the need of a boat to get to it, you can have all the peace and serenity you need. Stepping out of the tent in the morning and brewing the coffee, as you sit lazily by the water, to listen to the beauty all around you, plus watch and listen to all the animals wake to the morning with you. Listening to the Loons if you have never heard them? Is a beauty of it’s own to listen to. Watching the Eagles fly over head as they look within the water for their morning meal, maybe a Moose coming to the water’s edge, for it’s daily splash, OH!!! and watch out for the Bear also, just stay at a safe distance to watch their daily routine also. This is all the true beauty within Nature, of which you will never see, if you just stay within the city lights.

Some may go to a campsite and say they are camping in their trailers, yes you are in the woods, but you are on wheels and within a campground with others around. The true peace and serenity is camping deep within the woods, where your technology doesn’t work, so you can be one with Nature and the surroundings around you. When you sit by the fire and hear the crackling of the fire and all the sounds of Nature around you, without any people noises interrupting you, now you can truly clear your mind, body and soul from all the crap, then replace it true beauty. Relaxation at it’s finest as you sit within nature deep within the woods, sitting by a crackling fire, while you let all the daily grind and the stress from that grind, flow completely out from your body, so you than can truly refuel and recharge.

Some may say it is too much work to set up all that equipment for a few days, but if you just look at it as fun to get out within Nature, you will never look at it as work, only as, setting up your own personal spot, full of peace and serenity. I know some may complain of the snow that have been predicted for the next couple days, so if you break down each year to within four seasons as it truly is already, then you will find that getting through a season you may not care for, will only be temporary, til the season comes once again that you enjoy tremendously. Camping season for me lasts three of the four seasons, so getting through one season don’t seem as bad, as some would like to think, as for a few short months of snow and cold, will soon enough break, so camping season will be front and center once again.

The Forest, the plant life, the lakes and the streams, the mountains, the cool brisk morning air, giving away to the sunshine of the day, the tent, the camp fire and the setting up of the camp site, now your being one with Nature to unwind and clear your head of all the crap, then you can totally relax your mind, body and soul, so you can truly recharge and refuel, to move forward along your path better and stronger, throughout this journey of life.

” Being one with Nature will help you find the true peace and serenity throughout this journey”

” The nature walks, the camp fire and the sounds of nature, just what the doctor ordered, to fix yourself and recharge your batteries”

” Camping inside of a tent is not so bad, especially when you have a cot within the tent”

” The camp fire is not just too keep you warm from the brisk night sky, it is the ambiance of the whole camping experience”

The Magic of the Trail

Just recently there was an eighty year old man who just through hiked this trail, May God bless him as this is no easy task, just over two thousand one hundred miles, from Maine to Georgia, This trail takes hard work and dedication, not just the actual hiking of the trail, but the pre planning before you even take the first step on the trail.

This trail is on my bucket list……… okay I have no bucket and there is no list, but this trail none the less, has always been a to-do thing for me. This hike would be not only be full of the unknown, but full of much true beauty with every step. Now I have done a lot of this trail in New Hampshire, some in Maine and Massachusetts as well and up here, the shear beauty along the trail, will leave you speechless with each step, I can only imagine what the rest of the trail holds in store, for a journey well worth the walk.

We all have that one thing we long for, that thing that inspires us and helps us keep going to achieve our dreams and aspirations, for me it is this trail, just the thought of walking into the unknown and truly seeing all the true beauty around me. Yes it is a lot of work hiking up and down the mountains, not too mention the Wild life you may encounter? But with all the true beauty you will see along this trail, the work will not seem like work and will be very enjoyable with each step you take.

The unknown may scare some away from doing something totally awesome, what the unknown should do is, totally intrigue and make you have a burning desire to do something different, heck!!! You just may enjoy whatever the unknown is you seek? Never be afraid to take that first step into an unknown, the fear you have to enter into any unknown, is just your adrenaline telling you to be cautious, it is not saying to not enter, cause when we don’t enter into the unknown, then we will never have any known’s to feel comfortable within.

” The darkness of the unknown, never stays dark forever when we see the light”

” Dreams and aspirations are what inspires us to move forward, never lose sight and keep dreaming”

” A bucket list is just a to do list that we all try to achieve the list at some point”

” Hard work and dedication will always pay off, you just have to trust the process”

A piece of History……

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

The delivery of the History lesson and the way the teacher teaches the lesson………… Okay it might need some excitement brought into the lesson, but when you simply go out within Nature and explore, makes for a great way to learn all the History you want to learn about.

Rockwood is a small town within northern Maine at the tip of Moosehead lake toward the north and not far from the Canadian border. It is always fun to learn of these places, where you don’t venture to all that often, so you can see how the town was born, what resources came from this town and who was the first settlers of this town. Maine is one of those States that is full of History, some maybe you do know, but a lot you never knew. When some come here for a visit a lot of times they don’t take the time to truly learn of the History, only they jump into their boats and go so fast, the History goes right over their heads, without them really learning of where they are.

Yes the Ice Age was real and something that truly happened along this journey through life, this life evolves in cycles and each cycle is round, so over time, there are times that keeps repeating itself, just like the life cycle of each one of us, within our cycles there are the up’s as well as the down’s, things happen to us within our cycles for a reason and it is us that needs to find the reason, so we can be better informed as our cycle turns round and round, the same goes for the cycles within the journey as well, they also happen for a reason and unless we understand truly the reason, we will never truly understand any History that is right in front of us.

History has proven time and time again, that the Native Indian here in America was here first, it is us the White man that invaded them and pushed ourselves into their home. We cut down all the tree’s, developed all the land and all simply for the greed, then once we got a taste of the greed, we then let the greed control truly of who we are. Okay there have been some of our elected officials over the History of these United States that actually had a brain and with that brain, they have declared some of the land here a National land or park, where it is protected from any development, so there are is still some true beauty for us to get out and explore, but that still doesn’t make it right that we invaded and developed a good chunk of this land and all in the name of greed.

True that all this land within North America is rich with resources that we need, but there is a difference between taking the resources to make our lives better and taking the resources, just to line our pockets with greed. The biggest problem with the History of this great land of America is, we the People………. We the People have destroyed a big chunk of this land, just for the greed and could care less of any History that the land may hold. Mount Kineo was formed from the Ice Age of over 10,000 years ago, it was a place the Native Americans fished, hunted and gathered the Kineo Rhyolite, which is a durable stone for them to make their tools, this was also considered one of the best finds in all of North America. It is fun to learn of all this History and even more fun, to get out and explore as we walk our paths through this journey of life.

In the 1800’s the Moose river to Moosehead lake became the premier waterways for reaching all the logging roads within the woods of Maine and Rockwood, became the staging grounds for the full scale logging operations. Rockwood is truly a beautiful place and when you really learn of it’s History, makes it even more beautiful a place to visit and get away from the daily grind.

Every State within these United States is rich with their own History and to truly learn of the History, we need to get out and explore, instead of just developing the land, to fill our pockets with the greed, or not truly focusing on the history and getting lost within the journey for which we walk.

” Mount Kineo is one of those hidden gems, that most have no idea of what or even where it is”

” The native American was here first, as we the white man invaded and took their homes away from them”

” There are many places like Rockwood throughout this country, just that we have to get out and explore to see all the true beauty”

” There is much wildlife throughout the area of northern Maine, with the American Bald Eagle taking up residence there as well”

” The American Bald Eagle is such a big powerful bird and is fun to just sit and watch as they fly through the sky with the greatest of ease”

How Beautiful life really is……..

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

I sit here looking out on to the lake, forget what day it is and who cares what time it is, of whatever day? All the worries and the stress just seem to melt away, as you look out on to the lake, with the sun’s glitter moving ever so slowly. You hear the Loons of in the distance ( which are the Maine state bird), chatting with each other, then as you look toward the sky, an American Bald Eagle goes flying over head with the greatest of ease, an adult mature Eagle at that, with the white head, tail and the golden beak. How beautiful life really is, without the crap of the everyday drama and the stress that comes with our 9 to 5’s, or within the cities of our Society.

We are truly blessed to be able to walk our paths through this journey of life, just that we get so consumed with the crap and the ugliness, that we don’t take the time to truly see and look deeply into what is around us. There is so much more to life than what we may think? Or what we think we may know from our daily grind? There is a whole new World out there, just that we need to stop, slow down and really look deeply into what we see. Yes technology has taken over and with that the Media thinks they have to share “ALL” the crap, just so they can fill their pockets with greed. We the People as much as we don’t think are the ones in control of our own destiny’s.

When the water is calm, the Oar passes through the the water like a hot knife through butter, with each stroke of the Oar, now you move forward within your canoe and the sound of the Oar passing through the water is so relaxing, even though you are working to go from point A to point B. Although when you paddle the Oar slowly, now you can enjoy whatever animal that may come to the lakes shore, for their daily splash and drink. Simply because you are being as quiet as a Church Mouse, not to scare or startle the beauty you are looking at.

Look out on to the Lake and see the shore on the other side, what is over there you wonder? Maybe other Camper’s? Maybe a Moose or Deer, or maybe a Bear, just like on the side your on? Then you think just how nice this is, to be able to share this beauty with other species. There is so much more to this journey through life than our daily grind and a lot more species also walk their paths through this journey with us, we are not alone, but we carry on like we are alone with our current actions, instead of really looking deeply into into what we see, as we walk our paths through this journey through life.

” The American Eagle so Majestic and beautiful, flying through the air with the greatest of ease”

” The sounds of the Loon may be different to those who do not know of the bird, but these sounds do relax if you just sit and listen”

” Blessed be God for all this true beauty, so we can get out and enjoy all that is around us”

” The Oar passing through the calm water is so soothing and relaxing, helps make the stress and the drama just melt away”

Small Town ….. Big City

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

We all walk a path of which we choose, along this journey through life. Some may live within a small town, while others choose to live within a big city. The journey may be the same, but the paths we walk are different, depending on each of us and what we want to achieve along our paths. Now there are no paths along this journey that come smooth and grooved, as we all have to work hard at grooming our paths, so we can be happy and at peace. These paths will bruise us and knock us down from time to time, but the paths should not dictate on how we walk along them? Although we do get caught up within all the crap and get stuck within the ruts of the paths, then we struggle with trying to get out of the ruts, which then has us, out of focus on what we truly want along the path.

Now as we walk through this journey on our paths, we do need to work, so we than can make ends meet and afford what we want, but some as they work for someone or maybe a Corporate company, want to do things their way? Well that’s not how it works, we need to do it their way, as they are the ones paying us weekly, so we can afford what we want and do as we want on our days off. The same goes for our elected officials within our Governments, these Individuals will do and say anything to gain our votes, then when they get into office, they proceed to forget who put them there and move forward with their own agendas, not too mention we also pay for them and all their trips while they ” serve us”. Then they will not work with their fellow elected officials as they should, because they are too busy with the attitude of,   ” all about me”. The big problem with our elected Officials is, they continue to lie to us as they say, ” I am here for you and I work for you”. I think the biggest problem is we the people, as we fear putting new blood within the office simply because, we don’t want to take the risk of putting someone in place, that can not handle the job? So we then continue with the status Quo and then complain til we are blue in the face, because we know they are screwing us within the Government.

We are so afraid of what others will think of us when we show we can’t handle anything, that we then do what ever we can, in order to not show failure……… only because through failure comes ridicule and gossip talk. We are so afraid of failure, that we then hide our mistakes when we make them ( yes we all make mistakes), then we point the finger elsewhere, just to divert our mistakes away from us. The biggest mistakes our elected officials make is, to tun for an office that not only they can not handle, but they then get lost within the job of serving themselves, instead of the job of serving those who voted them into the office.

Now living within a big city we have to work harder at maintaining a certain lifestyle, while those within the small town, have less pressure and don’t have to work as hard, to live in a more simplistic lifestyle. We all want great success and to achieve great things, but within this broken Society we all live, we all have truly lost what real success is and have lost our way on what we need to achieve, in order to have that success. Sometimes when our paths beat us up and bring us great pain, we then get lost within the clouds of our judgments and totally lose sight of what we want to achieve, so we then can have success.

This journey through life comes with no guarantees, as we have to work hard for what we want, we will also make many mistakes, although we need to own up to those mistakes and not hide them then point the finger away from ourselves. There will be many jobs that will confuse the heck out of us and have us tackle things we can not handle, that is when we need to be strong, admit to ourselves and to others that we need help, so we all can work together, instead of banging heads and causing chaos around us, so we all can walk our paths through this journey of life in happiness and peace.

”   Little big town or big city, you take your pick, but which ever you pick you still need to work together to move forward stronger”

” There is no path that is groomed, we have to work hard at grooming our paths, to have success at whatever we want to achieve”

” Our elected Officials need to get back to who put them into their office, instead of trying to forget them and move forward with their own agenda”

” We may becomes confused and out of focus along our paths, which even more of a reason to unclog the clouds of our judgments and focus harder along our paths”

The Appalachian trail

The Appalachian trail, a trail that will test you, a trail that will have you see many things, a trail that has many ups and downs and in the rain, will have you trekking through a lot of muddy and slippery trails. This trail goes from Maine to Georgia and covers a lot of different terrain, there has been quite a lot that have started to trek this trail, but the number of those who actually finish the trail, diminish greatly. This is a trail that has intrigued me for a long time and is on my bucket list, maybe one day I will hike it from Maine all the way down to Georgia.

I have read a few books from Authors who have trekked the entire trail, all of which have their own outlook of the trail and maybe that’s what intrigues me the most? Some trek this trail cause they have lost there way along this journey through life, so they go and try to find themselves along the trail, some just do it cause it is there and they just want to climb, there is no wrong reason to trekking this trail, you just have to be prepared for whatever this trail will throw at you and enjoy every mile for which you trek.

The Appalachian trail, a trail rich in history, a trail that has been there as long as we have made America a home, this trail has gone through much change in the way of Mother Nature and the way she erodes the Earth, to make room for the new. Someone could of hiked this trail once when they were younger, then come back some fifty years later and find that a lot has changed because of erosion, as Nature will get rid of it’s old to make room for the new, just like as we age, from the young baby, to the old man/woman. Everything changes and Nature is part of the change like you and I.

There are some parts of this trail that have been kept up by the hands of Humans, yet there is a lot of this trail that is untouched by man, it is these parts that maybe intrigue me the most, as these sections you don’t see everyday, these sections are so far removed from any civilization, that the normal person won’t even think they exist. These are the sections you have to be prepared for the most, as they could be the homes of some Bear, Moose etc….. Now your the invader and within their territory to respect as you walk. Just as if you were at your home and you would want your visitors to respect your home and belongings, now you have to respect the Animals homes and their belongings.

A Survivalist  is someone that can trek anywhere and not only survive where they are trekking, but can also adapt to the area for which they are trekking. A Survivalist is not someone with a silver spoon you know where, it is someone that can adapt anywhere and with anything that they come across, in today’s Society a Survivalist is far and few between, as most today rely on their techy devices and their social media platforms. Out there on the trail you learn your direction by where the sun is at the time of day you look up, you know sun rises in the East and sets in the west, so there is your six o’ clock and twelve o’ clock on the dial within the sky, so where ever the sun is from that will determine direction and time of day.

We all walk a path through this journey of life, within this journey of life, there are many other journeys and the Appalachian trail is one of those journeys. We all have our own journeys for which we want to trek through, but the one on my bucket list for someday is, the Appalachian trail as this trail intrigues me in ways that, only a trek of the trail will truly explain. Now you need to be in pretty good shape to trek this trail, as you will be climbing mountains as well as walking through prairies, you will be trekking in all kinds of weather and need to be ready for it as well, okay there are some different kinds of shelters along the way, like a lean-to’s to climb into, or maybe a hut to seek shelter in, but a lot of the shelter you will be in, will be the tent you carry on your back, strapped to your pack. Life along this trail is quite different than life within any city and you can’t just flip open a phone for help when needed, you need to learn to survive, to make your life along this trail, go as smooth……as smooth can be, while trekking through a Wilderness, far away from your civilization home.

” Appalachian Trail is a trail many have started, but few have finished from Maine to Georgia”

” To survive is not just flipping open a phone for help, it is surviving a place totally out of your normal routine”

” There are many journeys within the journey of life, some of which many will not trek cause it is away from their comfort zone”

” To be one with Nature and it’s surroundings, you first have to respect whats inside of nature without stirring the pot to vigorously”
