” In all these things we are more than Conquerors through him who loved us”

Romans 8:37

” Resist the Devil and he will flee from you, draw near to God and he will draw near to you”

James 4:7-8

Thought of the day:

When Jesus came and walked his journey with us, he taught us how to be conquerors so the victory can be ours. When the blood of Jesus flows freely through our hearts, this draws us nearer to God to enjoy his protection, and we no longer need to fear the enemy.

Just as the day time sky gives way to the night sky, the good gives way to evil. The daytime may give way to the darkness for a short time, the evil can be the same, only sometimes we let it linger longer than it needs to. When we give into the temptation of Satan, the evil will then seem so strong, we get lost within the darkness. Sometimes we get caught up in the darkness around us, and with so much of it, we try to avoid it by hiding deep within ourselves. We forget that through the darkness there will always be the light of goodness. But as we hide within, we lose sight of where we are going and become lost as we walk through this journey of life.

True at times the darkness will seem stronger then anything we have seen, but the reality is, we forget that the goodness will always conquor the evil and the light will return to us all. While the darkness consumes us, sometimes other forces come into play, these forces will try to control every fiber of our being, and they will if we do nothing and let them, which is why we must never lose the faith in ourselves as well as Jesus Christ, so we all can have the hope, that we will get through the darkness, to once again be within the light of the good moving forward along this journey.

We all have this inner child within us, this child also needs to grow in a healthy way, just as we on the outside. When this inner child gets neglected, its kind of like a young child gets neglected within society, they do not grow properly, which then leads to a lot of issues later in life. When we become so troubled, we then put up these walls and let no one inside of the walls, even if that one is there to help? Once these walls go up, then we will never see any light, as the darkness goes wherever we go? This will make us all ripe for the pickings of Satan and all evil to control everything about us. The pain of this darkness becomes so painful, we will then do anything to rid ourselves from it, which means we will bury our true selves, then portray this fake self to all those around us, and as we portray this fake self, we then bury our true feelings and emotions very deep within, so that the blood of Jesus will not flow through our hearts, turning it so cold, that we feel nothing for anyone or anything around us.

Just as Jesus resisted the temptation of Satan, we to can resist the temptation as well. We need to stay strong to who we are, never bury our feeling and emotions, and always look all fear in the eyes, so that fear then melts away from us. When we put up these walls we will never face any fear head on, we will always take the easy way out and become someone we truly are not. There is no fear that is stronger then any of us, we only make it look strong as we give into it and let it totally control who we are. This includes the power of Addiction, yes an addiction is very powerful, but when we let it control us and not stand up to it, then like fear it will conquor us and take us deeper into the darkness, with zero light anywhere in front of us.

Sometimes we need to change what we are doing, in order to get to who we truly are, and for some that may seem harder then walking through a brick wall, but in a lot of ways, we are walking through that brick wall, as we have put up the wall to begin with. True there will be much pain to fix what we need in order to get to who we are, but that pain is nothing to the pain of not being of who we are, just that we have numbed ourselves so much from the pain, we do not feel it anymore. We feel nothing from anything, when we try to move forward without our true feelings and emotions, but there is no better feeling in the world, when we are true to ourselves, have complete faith in ourselves and in Jesus Christ, which then gives us hope to be whatever we want along this journey. When we resist the temptation of Satan, then Jesus will always be with us and guide to the path of righteousness, his blood will warm our hearts as it flows freely within us, his love will always be within us, so we can share that love with each other, and yes it is also okay to cry, as the tears are what heals us from our pain moving forward, just like mother nature rains on the earth, washing away the dirt and bringing out the flowers of life.

We may walk our own paths through this journey of life, but the journey is the same for each of us. We grow and heal in our own ways, but when we resist the temptation of Satan, Jesus will always be by our side as we walk our paths, its the faith that shows us that and brings us all the hope we need moving forward. The darkness does not have to be around long, which will give us all true light throughout this journey, as we see clearly of where we are going, with no obstructions to slow or stop us, and we move forward in the peace of Christ, with joy at every turn.

” The day sky gives way to the night sky, just as the darkness looms over us, the true light will always be around the next corner”

” We only fear the enemy because we let temptation control us and move further away from the power of Jesus Christ”
