” Climbing to the summit of the mountain may take time and work, but the reward at the summit makes all the work well worth the trip”
You know as we walk our paths through this journey of life, there is nothing that is handed to us, the path is not lined with rose petals or as smooth as silk, quite often the thorns from the Roses are what we have to navigate around, and those thorns will prick us to have us feel the pain with our blood leaking out within the paths that we walk. Just as the climb up the mountain takes work, so does the walk on our paths through this journey of life.
The walk up the mountain will come with some obstacles to overcome, with each step along the trail, there will be very different views and very different outlooks of those views, we may meet up with a wild animal that may force us to do things we normally would not, then there are the streams that need to be crossed hopefully without getting wet? Then there is the weather that can change in the blink of an eye, especially the higher you are on the mountain, There is so much to the hike up the mountain, but as we reach the summit with such amazing views, all is forgotten as we enjoy what we see at the top of the mountain.
The paths of this journey very much like the climb up the mountain will come with its obstacles and hurdles, yes we do have to navigate around them and they will also knock us down as well, but it is never about the way we fall, as it is totally about the way we pick ourselves up from the fall. We all will have our own outlook and view things differently from one another, but this should never deter us from walking this journey correctly, there may be many paths and roads that we may cross and as we cross these roads, there will be others that may try to get in our way, but staying true to who we are will help us stay strong, as we move forward across the paths and the cross-roads, without going backward with much pain and hurt. There will be so many unknowns along this journey, they can throw us many curveballs, which makes for a bumpy journey if we do not fix what we need to fix and keep moving forward toward the peace and happiness, that Jesus showed us when he came and walked his journey here with us.
Every path may not be the same, but the journey for each of us has the same beginning as well as an ending, it is what’s in between the beginning and the ending that can and will either give us spectacular views, or have us see nothing through the clouds of our judgments.
” Climb the mountain to the summit they said, but they never said a thing of the view from the summit”
” The deeper you may look, the further you shall see”
” The hurdles may knock you down, but should never determine of how you pick yourself up from the fall”
