Veterans Day

” It doesn’t take a special breed to fight the good fight for their country, just someone deeply in touch with their true feelings and emotions, to not only feel the love of their country, but the love for all those for who they fight for”

To all the Brave men and woman from the past, present and future, who not only fight the good fight, but do so out of love for their country and all those within the country as well. We all have the qualities to serve our country, but it is only a few that actually take the plunge to fight the good fight. We all have the traits to be a hero, but those who fight the good fight and help their fellow soldier out of a jam without thinking, are the true Hero’s. These Individuals don’t look for the fan fare, they don’t expect anything in return, they just go about it as their job, so we all can live freely with happiness throughout this country of America. The thing is, when they come back home from everything they have seen while fighting the good fight, they quickly become lost in the shuffle and struggle to try to get back to normal among us, instead of us reaching out to them, without thinking like they did while fighting the good fight, we then forget of them and their sacrifice, as we get so wrapped up in just keeping up and moving forward. Then those within our elected officials, when there needs to be cuts, will cut their health benefits when they need it most, which then has them out in the cold all around us. The Veterans health care is in need of a major over haul and part of that is, us reaching out to them without thinking, as they did when they were fighting the good fight.

We all sacrifice everyday, but when a Veteran sacrifices it quickly becomes the ultimate sacrifice. We normal Citizens here in America, have no clue of what our Veterans really had to go through while fighting the good fight, especially wars like world war 2 or Korea, never mind the political war of Vietnam? When they were laying in the trenches and their buddy gets shot right next to them, or a grenade goes off with their limbs blowing to the sky, this does damage to you and when you come home, even though you are fortunate enough to be all there on the outside, you really are not all there, as your mind then reaks havoc inside you and when others around you just let you be without reaching out, now you and your mind struggle just to be as normal as the rest of us throughout this journey of life.

A Veteran may have volunteered to put themselves in harms way, but they did not volunteer to be forgotten when they return home to the country they fought the good fight for, the job to take care of our great veterans belongs to you and I, they sacrificed for us and in a lot of cases, they paid the ultimate sacrifice, just so you and I can be free to do what we want when we want and enjoy every square inch of this great country for which we live. We all walk a path through this journey of life, some are the chosen ones that blaze that path for us, but within this broken society of today, we take so much for granted, that we forget to thank these great Hero’s known as our Veterans, even though they don’t see themselves as Hero’s, they truly are…….. So we all can walk this journey in the peace and happiness, that we all so need in a healthy way.

” A big THANK YOU to all our Veterans in this country of America, past, present and future, for giving the good fight so we here can be free to do as we do, at all we do”

” A true hero will never see himself as a hero, to them it is just a job for which they signed up to do”

” We take so much for granted today, that we totally forget those who made it possible for each of us to walk in  peace, while being free to do as we do”
