It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words? With this picture from the London Times, there are no words. This picture was in the London Times twenty four hours after that tragic day of 9/11/2001. Change will come to each of us as we walk our paths through this journey of life and at different times to each of us, with such a tragic event, change comes to all of us at the same time and so wide spread.
The New York skyline has been changed forever to all of us throughout this world, not just we here in America have been affected by this event, so many worldwide have been affected as well. So many either have perished or are still feeling the effects from this tragic day. America will never feel the same as when we grew up before this tragic time.
For many of us within the last seventeen years, we will never forget where we were, nor what we were doing at the exact times of, not just when the Towers were struck, but when they crumbled to the ground in ruin. With each passing year from this tragic event and the change that has come, the pain will always be there, we just have to learn and change, of how we deal with it, so we than can move forward, better and stronger, to let peace and love overwhelm us, instead of what we see now, in all the ugliness and hatred.
Scars will mark us and remind us of times in our lives, that have brought much pain and tears, but these same scars do not have to stop us from moving forward better and stronger. Scars are the band aid that covers the open wounds, so the wound can heal us from the pain, without the scars then the pain and the bleeding will never stop, leaving us with no where to turn from the tragedies, the scars, the pain and the tears, are how we heal correctly and stay truly of who we are, which is full of the love of God, to share with each other as we walk through this journey of life.
The clouds of dust covering a portion of the city within the state of New York, showing us just how fragile everything around us is, where all that we build and in the blink of an eye, it all comes crashing down, leaving not just pain and tears among us, but a void within us all, that will always be there, no matter what we do to try to fill that void. Then as the dust lifts and everything becomes more clear, we then have no words, as the tears cover our faces, from seeing all the devastation and the rubble from such a tragedy. Through such a tragedy we witnessed so many helping others, that is truly of who we are, it’s all the other crap in this society just forces us to become someone for for we are not. America has changed forever and this is not the same America that I grew up within.
Change is all around us as we walk our paths of this journey and as we remember such a tragic event that 9/11 was, truly shows us that change can and will effect us in so many ways, there are various stages of change, with an event like 9/11, being as drastic as drastic can be, true there are some change being real suttle and barely noticeable, but no matter of the stage of change, we need to adapt and accept all change, so we than can move forward better and stronger.
The tears from the tragic event of 9/11 may have flooded our face, but the scars and the pain will never leave us even as we change, the scars and the pain will forever be within us, these scars then become a reminder of a terrible time, so we can change what we need to change, as we move forward better and stronger, as we walk our paths of this journey through life in the peace and happiness, that God envisions for each of us, only if we loved one another more, then the hate that is around us now will disappear, so we all can be at peace, in all we do throughout this journey.
” America has changed forever and will never be the same as we once knew it when we grew up”
” Through the tears comes pain and you can’t get rid of the pain without the tears”
” A picture is worth a thousand words, but with some pictures, there are no words”
” When you don’t adapt and except change, then change can bring great pain and tears”
