“Yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes.”
James 4:14 ESV
We all walk a path through this journey of life, just that no one truly knows of just how long the journey will take us, as we all walk in our own direction on the path. We will all walk the best way that we know, or do we really know what is best? We of this Society seem to think that our own Individual way is the best way, but yet we have all this hatred, ugliness and crap that surrounds us today, so how do we truly know of the truest way, to walk the path of our choosing, through this journey of life.
The band Kansas has a great song called ” Dust in the wind”, If you truly sit and listen to the words deeply, this is of we the people walking our paths. We are all just dust in the wind of life, we are born into this world no matter of who you are? We live our lives the best that we know how, til that infinite day that we then become like the dust in the wind, of which this journey then ends, leaving us to walk the path of our choosing no more. So the question then lingers, why do we bring so much unwanted crap to each other, if we truly do not know of how long we will be walking this journey of life?
To some they are lucky enough to be walking this journey for a very long time, while for others, their journey gets cut short for whatever reason? Some may get struck by a terrible accident, some may get a terrible disease where there is no way out of it, some…………. For some strange reason have their lives cut short, even if they do it right and they are completely healthy? While most of the so called chosen ones get to walk this journey for a very long time? There is no rhyme or reason to all this, for the only one that truly knows is God with his son Jesus, for which the rest of us may find the true answer at judgment day, when we meet Jesus at the gates of Heaven.
Just as this quote says, we do not truly know what tomorrow will bring, for each day we wake is a new day, with a different trek along the journey, especially if that trek brings us deep pain and hurt, which has us dread each day that we wake. The pain and hurt could be a wide range of things? Maybe it consists of deep physical pain from injuries that have hurt us? Maybe the pain could be a deep psychological mental pain that becomes deep within our hearts and souls? We all go through these types of pain and hurt at some point along the journey, but if we don’t look deeply into what pains us so, for us to truly fix the pains of this journey and not bring the pains in a complaining way to the rest who walk a journey, then just maybe we can end all the hatred and ugliness around us, so we all can walk our paths of this journey in the peace and happiness, that God had envisioned, when he created us all for this journey of life.
What is your life? Sounds like a game show theme I know, but really how truthfully can we all answer that question? There is so much change that surrounds us all throughout our paths of this journey, that for some they may never have a truthful answer to that question. For the ones who think you have the answer to this question, stop…………. Really look deeply into the life that you created along this journey, did you actually walk this journey as Jesus taught us, when he came and walked his journey here with us? Was your journey truly 100% out of the love and empathy deep within your soul, for yourself and those around you? You may have walked a good journey to the best of your knowledge, but was the journey truly great from the start to the finish of the journey walked? The only way we will truly know is at judgment day, when we meet Jesus at the gates of Heaven.
As the mist of the rain disappears for the sunshine and clear skies, so do we as we walk our paths of this journey through life, into the sunset of the journey. We have all heard the term of, ” live life to the fullest”? What exactly does this mean? We all have our own meaning for this along our own paths, but do we truly live our lives to the fullest? Living life to the fullest is not about having all the money, it’s not about having more material things than those around you, it is all about living your life faithfully and believing totally in yourself, plus having complete faith and belief in Jesus Christ, while you not only feel deeply his love within you, but you share that love with who is around you along this journey, so we than can truly walk our paths of this journey, in the peace and happiness we all so deserve. We truly do not need all we have today and Jesus proved that to us along his journey, as he walked his path with just the clothes on his back, with the total faith and belief in his father, our God, who provided him with what he needed to walk a successful journey. Within today’s Society we get so caught up within, it is very easy to get off track, lose sight of the true journey, lose the true faith and belief in not only ourselves, but in Jesus Christ as well. When we are off the true track of life, our thoughts then become lost in the clouds of our judgments, which then has us wander aimlessly, instead of walking with confidence along our paths of this journey. It is never too late to get back on track of the journey and Jesus will always forgive us for whatever we have done, but the ultimate forgiveness, is the forgiveness of ourselves, so we than can truly get back on track to walk our paths of this journey, within the peace and happiness we all so truly strive for everyday of our lives.
” Forgiveness of ourselves is the true key of happiness throughout this journey, to reach the true peace of a journey well walked”
” Dust in the wind……… A great way to explain this journey, as we are the dust that gets blown around the lives we walk”
” We all have love and empathy deep within us, we just have to truly feel it, so we than can share it with each other”
” the journey could be long, it could be short, we may only find the true answer as we meet Jesus at judgment day within the gates of Heaven”
