While the forty day journey comes to a close and Jesus gets betrayed by one of his Disciples, Let us all remember the sacrifice he made for each of us, so we than can be free from all harm, the sacrifice of himself, as he is nailed to the cross. Then on Good Friday he then rises from the tomb of the dead, to truly show of just how much he loved us all. With this Holy week, let each of us sacrifice away all this ugliness around us, so we then can dig down deep within our souls, pull out the love within us and share this love with each other, not the superficial love, but the true love of Jesus Christ that is within all our hearts and souls.

Jesus set a great example for us all to follow, but we the people not only have lost the faith in him, but we also have developed a mind set that, our way is the super highway and the only way, now look where that has taken us, with all the ugliness and hate that surrounds us today. This ugliness and hate is we the people giving into Temptation, the same Temptation for which Satan had tried to temp Jesus into giving into and joining him with his ugliness. Jesus stayed true to who he is, believed totally in his Father, the lord God, the creator of all Mankind, so he could prove to us along his journey here with us, that there is so much more to the journey, when we to stay true to ourselves, stay true to the love within our hearts and souls, have complete Faith in ourselves as well as with He………Jesus Christ.

This and all Easter seasons isn’t just a time for candy and a Easter Bunny. It all starts with the Lenten journey, or the forty day journey, the very same journey Jesus walked here with us, as this journey then takes us into the Holy week, with betrayals, pain and hurt, while it ends with a resurrection from the dead, showing the true power of love. During the Lenten journey Jesus showed us that, when we stay true to who we are, with great faith in ourselves and he as well, there is no temptation strong enough that will over power and control us, as we to walk a path through this journey of life, which then will give us great hope moving forward always.

The sacrifice, the love, the temptations, the faith or the hope, are not just key components of the Lenten forty day journey, these are key components for us all as we walk our paths, through this journey of life. These components are what makes us who we truly are, so we than can share our compassion and empathy with each other and when we share this compassion and empathy, then the ugliness and hate will disappear from our lives, so we than can be within the peace and happiness, that Jesus brought us to, as we came to the true path of righteousness. Within the path of righteousness, there is no room for any hate or ugliness, which then surrounds us with all good, with the evil staying put, where ever  it goes, when it is not wanted by anyone. May we all find that true peace within this Holy week, so we than can keep this peace going throughout the year and throughout all our paths, of this journey through life.
