” A Leper came to Jesus and kneeling down begged him and said, ” if you wish you can make me clean”, moved with pity, he stretched out his hand, touched him, and said to him, ” I do will it, be made clean” “.

MK 1: 40-41

With yet another season of Lent upon us, please Jesus give us all Christians the strength, to stand up, come together in unity, so we all can move forward along our paths of this journey through life, in the peace and happiness we all so long for. We within this fast paced Society, a pace so fast we drive ourselves crazy just to try to keep up, a pace so fast that everything passes us by, before we even get a chance to stop and really look deeply at what just passed us, a pace so fast that if you blink, you then just missed something of importance, which you than can never get it back.

The season of Lent is a time for all Christians to take inventory of their journey til now and simply cleanse themselves of the crap, so they can move forward better and stronger, along their path of this journey. Jesus walked his journey here with us, he walked the forty day journey which is Lent, he was tempted by many things, as he showed us, when you stay true to who you are, there is no temptation strong enough that will take control, or force us into becoming someone we truly are not. The season of Lent is a season of change and when we change for the better, then all our journey’s will be better moving forward, Through the fasting or the change, there are things required like eating fish on Friday etc……. Within this Society some may look at this change as too drastic, but if you follow the steps of Jesus Christ, you will find this forty day journey a lot easier than you think.

The forty day journey to some may be intimidating, it may also be frowned upon as most don’t truly understand of the journey, but the forty day journey through reality, will not only help you become better moving forward, it will also cleanse your body, mind and soul, to eliminate all the crap and replace it with all the good, that will have you feel deeply your true feelings, get back in touch with the love and empathy that is deep within us all, so we than can share it with each other and make the whole World a better place for us all to walk our paths through this journey of life.

When the Leper came to Jesus, he found out no matter of who you are, there is no one that he will not help. You just have to not only have faith in yourself, you also have to have complete faith in Jesus Christ as well, with this faith you will then be granted the hope of not just a better you, but the hope for a better journey as well. This forty day journey is us sacrificing part of ourselves now, so we can truly find of who we are and move forward along this journey better and stronger then we have ever been, True the forty day journey of Lent is the fasting for Christians, but in no way does Jesus discriminate this journey for whoever wants to walk it, his arms are open wide to all, who may be of interest to walk it, as we all should learn truly from Jesus, so we than can walk this journey of life, just like we walk the forty day journey, so all of us, can find the true peace and happiness, we all so deserve.

” Stop, reflect, take time, move forward, take stock in your life, to be better and stronger throughout this journey”

” The Leper who some may simply turn the other cheek to, but Jesus stopped to help him be better and stronger”

” The season of Lent may be the fasting for Christians, but it is a season open to all, for the proper change throughout the journey of life”

” Never be intimidated, never frown upon anything, always stay true to who you are and always have complete faith, keeping the hope within your grasp”
