A slice of Americana………..

GEDSC DIGITAL CAMERA

A trip back into the days of yesteryear, a time people worked hard without batting an eye, just so they could walk their path of this journey through life, in peace and happiness at all they did. Now don’t get me wrong about those of today, but with a small majority that want it all, but yet refuse to put in the work needed to achieve all they can, or be all they can be, this World would be a better place with hard work by each of us, not too mention, stopping all the bickering, the hate and the ugliness we see today so common within this Society.

They don’t build vehicles like this anymore, a time the auto industry pushed out good quality vehicles, instead of pushing out vehicles, just so the upper brass can have all the greed and live their exotic lifestyles. Greed has killed everything around us and once we get the taste for the greed, now all we want is the greed and will do anything to achieve all the greed over all that is around us. We all want that good quality vehicle, so we than can go out and explore, to truly see what all of America has in store for our enjoyment.

Back in the day of yesteryear, yes we worked hard, but we played hard also and didn’t complain about anything, we took everything in stride, as we made this journey look simple to all around us. We the people of this journey need to look no where but at ourselves, to clearly see where all the ugliness and hate comes from…….. instead we blame those around us, without blaming ourselves for getting so caught up within all the ugliness and not just simply being of who we are.

Trucks like this were the work horses of our lives, then on Sunday’s would double as the family vehicle, to bring the family to Church, so they could celebrate the word of God and his one and only son in Jesus Christ. Yes they had Mechanics back then, but yet these Mechanics didn’t get rich simply because, these vehicles were built to last, unlike the vehicles of today, as the owners of these vehicles took good care of them and did preventive maintenance, so they would last without fail. I took this picture along the back roads of New England and goes to show that, even today these vehicles exist, because it is taken care of and not neglected, like the vehicles of today.

True Americana isn’t just about walking a path here in America, it is about the how we can walk our path to be better and stronger with each step, it is about how we treat each other, without all the ugliness and hate,  it is about knowing how to fix things, to make them last and look as good as new, it is about working hard, so we then can play hard within the simple life, it is also knowing how to fix ourselves properly when need be, so we all can walk our paths of this journey, within the peace and happiness we all deserve, for the hard work we put in.

True Americana back then was a whole lot different of an era then that of today, but we of today could also learn from that era, so we can make our lives today, seem as simple as they made theirs. That Generation of that era may seem like a lot of work to us today, only because all the technology of today has made us all lazy and not willing to work for what we want, or work for truly being of who we can truly be. That part of Americana may be in the past and may seem as if we can never get it back, but we can get it back with some hard work, some ingenuity and being smart, not too mention, knowing of truly who we are, so we can walk our paths smoothly, throughout this journey of life.

” A slice of Americana is more than just the apple pie and Baseball, it is the hard work making our lives better and peaceful”

” The technology has made us all lazy only because we have let it with our addictive personalities”

” This is a great truck as it doubled as a work horse and a reliable pleasure vehicle”

” The days of yesteryear may be in the past, but we can get back to being like that time with a little hard work and ingenuity”
