The many faces of Change

Change is a force that you just can’t avoid, although some may tend to try and act as if there is no such thing as Change, but in order to move forward and be better and stronger along this journey of life, there has to be change, or we would simply wander through this journey, without walking confidently in all we do along our paths.

The many faces of Change with all it’s different expressions, some change is very minimal, as other change will change who you truly are, whether good or bad. One day you can change the way you cut your hair, but on the other hand a change in lifestyle can and will always be the most difficult kind of change. Within this Society most will resist change, simply because they are afraid of the unknown factor it brings to us, we all fear the unknown, but when you move forward slowly and methodically along your path, accept the change that comes, we will find that we should never fear change, as change can help us grow stronger and be better as we walk our paths along this journey through life.

Within this Society we tend to think that we know more than each other, we are better than each other, but seriously we are all very similar to each other, just that because we are so unique to each other, change that is good for one, may not be the right change for another. The unknown part of change we should not fear, we should embrace it, learn from it and our past mistakes, so we then can move forward through change, stronger and better than before.

This picture shows a side of Change that we never look at, on this Bald face of this mountain, there was once a Face that was naturally cut into these rocks, to those that live in New England this face was known as ” The Old Man of the Mountain”. This old Man kind of owned this rock face for many many years, as he was cut into the rock face through erosion, well….. a few short years ago that same erosion has taken him from this rock face. This is Nature’s way of bringing Change to us and from this Change, some because they can’t deal with the change properly, are trying to develop a way to bring the face of the old Man back to the face of the rocks. The Old man came to us to show us the beauty of the rock face, now that he is gone, we need now to get used to the bald face rocks once again and see if erosion will bless us with another figure on the face of the rocks.

True when I travel through Franconia Notch, which was the home of the Old Man of the Mountain throughout my life, I am sorrowed that when I look up he is not there, but at the same time I can embrace the change and see the true beauty on the face of these rocks. True the rocks may look bare now without the Old man, but it is exciting to look deeply on to these rocks every time I go up that way, to see if maybe there is another formation being formed by nature, for us all to relish once again as we travel through Franconia Notch.

Change is a force that affects us all, the many faces of Change may look different to us and make us fear the force of Change, but if we embrace the Change, learn from it and our past mistakes, we then can move forward through Change and be better and stronger, as we walk our paths through this journey of life.

‘ The Faces of Change are not there to scare us, they only simply are there to guide us to prosperity to be better and stronger”

” The Old Man of the mountains has made us look up for many years, now that he is gone, let’s look up and see the real true beauty of the mountains of Franconia Notch”

” Fear not the unknown part of change, conquer your fear so change can make you better and stronger”
