In this ever changing World for which we live, we to can feel as small as this Salamander looks. This Salamander may look down the path it follows and think, he may never reach the destination which he sets out to reach, being so small and all around him looking so big, he moves along his path with no aspirations or drive, but on the contrary he works hard, moves at his pace and never gives up, leaving him happy and contempt with what he overcomes along his path. Like everything changes for us, it to changes for this little guy, but with perseverance and courage, all change can be for the better, making us and this little guy stronger moving forward.
Within this Society we tend to look at the bad and think nothing good will ever come of it, only because we have become lazy and give up before we even try. A person within this Society who has dreams and goals, buys up a business that is struggling, hires the right people around him and together they build a successful company, for the next twenty years he not only builds up the company further, he builds a respect with his workers, the clients he gathers and other companies around him. Then one day twenty years later, another company comes along see’s how well his business is doing, how clean he keeps his facility and the pride he has doing all this, they make him an offer to buy him out, so they can extend their company further in another region, now this Owner don’t want to disrupt the ones that worked hard and helped him grow the business, so he just doesn’t settle for any offer, he settles on a great offer, that takes care of the employee’s that helped him grow his company. I stumbled into this business a year ago and have worked hard since I have been there, yes it is emotional for all when change comes like this, but this owner wants to give back to his employees by giving them bonuses for their length of time there, yes I am getting my bonus, but the one guy left from twenty years ago, is getting a great bonus and a reward for all his hard work. This is how it should be within this Society, instead we have gone the other way, now true their are good business owners out there, but they are far and few between. These paths we walk through this journey of life can be rough at times, we all get knocked down from time to time, but it is not on how you fall, it has everything to do with how you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, fix what needs to be fixed, so you can move forward better and stronger than before.
Change will come to us in many ways, but change when handled correctly can be the most beautiful thing we will ever go through. Unfortunately in this Society we fear change, only because we have become so lazy to work hard, to let change do what it does best…….. make us better moving forward. This Salamander in this picture can easily give up and become lazy, but he don’t and because of that, he goes along his path with his head held high, works hard every day so he can eventually reach his destination to where he has set is goals, to where he wants to be throughout his journey. There is always a lesson to learn whenever change comes before us along our path, but unless we look deeply into what we see, we will never see the good of the change and always see just the bad, which then forces us to give up, before we even start.
