The Society that once was…………….

Desert Landscape          It was a warm Summer day and the streets within the City were filled with people and much noise, as everybody smiled for what they were doing. The City was so vibrant this day, that the hustle was shaking the sidewalks.   There was once a time before the City was established, that the City was desolate and quiet, not a sole to be found as all the People were migrating some where else, until they got bored and wanted a change from the comfy zone they were in.

The City had shops, restaurants and a movie theater, which at one time it showed four films a day and now sits idle in the darkness with no bright lights, from the screen, to light your path to the snack-bar, heck!!! you can’t even get inside as the doors have closed forever. Just as everything on our journey through life changes, the Cities where we all  live change as well and sometimes all we can do is move from point A to point B.

Each City that dies and loses their Population, are known today as a Ghost Town and there are quite a few around us today, we just have to look around us in order to see where they are, but do the Ghosts really live there? and Are they the new Society to come  within our future here on Earth?

Before the City was established it might of looked a bit dry and flat, with maybe a few hills and stone structures around, then as Mankind came and built on this land, now the once desolate land  has become busy with skyscrapers, homes and other buildings around. Everything got busy in a big way and just maybe these Ghost Town’s are popping up around us, cause all the resources have all dried up for the people to survive within it? When Mankind came around and bought up all the land around, just to build their homes or businesses on, you think they really thought of the ramifications of their build in the future to come? Okay maybe their future, but not the future of what was to come after their journey has ended. You think they thought of the resources around them and that maybe one day there would be no more resources, for all the Societies to come in the long term future? Or maybe they just expected Mother Earth to keep up with all their demands? We throughout mankind are very demanding and want it all, without thinking of anybody/anything around them, which maybe some day down the road, we just might see many more Ghost Towns popping up all around us.

Back in a time when People wandered this Earth in search of finding riches, there were tumbleweeds flying around the Earth and through the small little Towns that were built, just to mine for Gold. Now these Towns are desolate with no action within them anymore, but are there actually Ghosts living within them? Or are the towns just sitting empty waiting for the next Gold rush times, to come across their paths here on Earth? We throughout this Society of today, are very much the same as those Societies of yesteryear, only the product of getting rich has vastly changed from the Gold of that time. We all want to be rich and we all want it now, the difference between us now and them of yesteryear is, we of today have no empathy and care nothing of anybody/everything that is around them. We all walk our paths within this journey through life, just like those before us, if we keep operating in the way we are, there may be no Society to come, after our journey here is done? The time for true change is now, so we all can walk our journey’s in peace, to be better and stronger moving forward, then the Societies to come can do the same for what comes after them.

” A Society scorned can change so their future can be better, as all within it move forward with peace and harmony throughout”

” A Ghost Town is an old desolate town within our past, maybe there are no actual Ghosts within it”

” Cities and Towns get built up from land that has no action within it, while the city is built maybe we should think of its resources for the many Societies to come, without leaving it a wasteland once again”
