What do the words Peace be with you really mean?
When we see or say this word Peace today within our Society we think of World peace, with all the chaos and hatred around us everyday. Back in the 1960’s within those times they had a different way of expressing this word Peace, with the war’s that were taking place and the rebellious acts of the young back then, they gave this word Peace a whole new meaning, as they tried to show their freedom of expression in a whole new light, Peace back in the 60’s meant happiness and freedom and today we think of it as better times of joy, with no more hurting of each other.
The true meaning of the word Peace came from the words of Jesus Christ himself, the word Shalom within the Muslim community, has the same meaning of this word Peace by Jesus and what the true meaning of these words are, may serenity and mercy come to you all and spread the love of God with each other.
With all this hatred and chaos around us everyday within this Society, only shows that Satan is alive and well and walks this journey along with us, just as he tempted Jesus he tempts each one of us everyday, the word temptation comes from the mouth of Satan, just as the word Peace came from the mouth of Jesus.
In order for us to have serenity and mercy in our lives, we have to truly believe in ourselves, as well as truly believe in Jesus also, just like when Jesus was tempted by Satan, he stayed true to who he was and believed in his Father the Lord God, to which the temptation of Satan disappeared from the life of Jesus Christ, so he could further his teachings to us all, to show us the true path of righteousness and when we feel his love within our hearts, we then can share this love with all those around us.
Just as we grow within this Society, the true meaning of this word Peace grows within us all, as we truly believe in ourselves along with truly believing in Jesus, the serenity and mercy from this word peace, will flood our hearts with the love of Jesus and as we feel this love, we can then share it with all those around us.
When this inner child that is within us all doesn’t grow to it’s full potential within us, then we as an Individual don’t grow to our full potential, we then become clouded in our judgements, which brings much pain to our lives as we walk our paths of our journey of life, with this pain we will do anything to to relieve ourselves from it, which includes giving in to the temptation of Satan, when we give in to this temptation and as much as we think we believe in ourselves, we truly lose a very large piece of ourselves, we don’t let the love of Jesus warm our hearts and with that we never let the serenity and mercy of true Peace come to us, which we then move forward with much doubt for which chaos and hatred become who we are, instead of truly being who we are and feeling the love of Jesus within our hearts and then spreading this love with all those around us, as we walk our paths of our journey of life.
” just as the true meaning of peace came from the mouth of Jesus, the word temptation came from the mouth of Satan”
” Peace is to serenity and mercy, as temptation is to chaos and hatred”
” Shalom and Peace may be from different parts of the World and within different cultures, but the two words comes from Jesus himself with the same meaning of serenity and mercy to us all”
