Big Vince and the New England Patriots

big vince             This is a letter I pulled off of Twitter that was retweeted by DJ Bean, who is within the Boston Sports Media. Looks like Big Vince is in the process of a big decision.

Vince Wilfork is one of those type of players in sports, that doesn’t come along very often, not only was he a great player and even a big time player, but more important was that he was a very special player throughout his years here in New England. You can put him in the same category as Teddy Brushci and Tom Brady, the three of them have multiple championships with the same team and all three are very good leaders who redefined what being a true leader is. Big Vince led by example and has never been any kind of trouble for his team.

Big Teddy bear, that is a nickname I gave this great player of Vince Wilfork, off the field and within the 5th quarter press conferences, this is how Big Vince came across, on the field how ever, there was no more a competitive player than Big Vince, even when the other team doubled team him, he still found a way to break up a play. When he tipped that ball in the air, then caught it and ran for the touchdown, I was overcome with tears of joy, only cause that was Vince being Vince and what made him a great player.

With this letter and seeing that Big Vince has a decision to make, I as a true Patriot fan will back him 100%, no matter what his decision whether retirement or playing for another team? I will always be a Big Vince fan and wish him the best of luck in what ever decision he makes. We as true New England Patriot fans owe him this, for all his hard work he has done for his team and teammates and especially for the way he came back from his injury, a torn Achilles would probably of side lined an ordinary player longer or end their career?   As Big Vince used it to motivate himself even more, for the benefit of his team.

Now the sports media may spin this hundreds of different ways, only cause that is their job and creating drama is what they do, without the drama they will have no job, hence then maybe we can all watch and enjoy our sports and favorite players even more. With that said, anybody that says anything bad about Big Vince, does not really know Big Vince. He is not only a great player on Game day, but what he brings to his team/teammates, is true leadership and trusting in his teammates as they should trust in him to do their jobs on the field and with their motto of “do your job” this season, then ending with another championship, speaks loudly of how Big Vince was throughout his career here with the New England Patriots.

” Big Vince was a great leader for his team and his attitude and actions proved just that”

“Good luck in all you do Big Vince, as this fan is a fan for life”
