You’ve heard of Duck Dynasty? It’s alive and well in the city of Boston

Unlike the TV show Duck Dynasty that a family has made their money from manufacturing a Duck Kazoo, this Duck Dynasty in Boston starts with one of their four Pro teams winning a championship, then being ushered thru the city on board the now famous Duck boats.

We in the city and those throughout New England, have been hugely spoiled with the rash of championships and the great teams we have been witnessing right before our eyes, the Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox and the Celtics have combined for nine championships over the last thirteen years, can you say true Title Town now? I can cause no other city has had a run like this in my lifetime so far, you can make a case about the Yankees and their winning, but the other teams in that city haven’t help them in the case of the name Title Town.

True we here in New England have been spoiled and a big part of it, goes to two guys named Bill Belichek and Tom Brady, they definitely  will be in the NFL Hall of fame as the best quarterback/coaching tandem in the history of the NFL, but let’s not forget ” in bill we trust”, as his actions to this point have proved that he knows what he is doing. We here in New England have been blessed with some great coaches of our teams, but in my lifetime none better than Bill and Claude Julien of the Boston Bruins. Claude may only have one ring with these Bruins, but his style and way of coaching, keeps this team in the hunt every year.

” Duck Dynasty”. Maybe there should be a new TV show showing what this Duck Dynasty is really about? It is about some converted Armed Services vehicles, that do tours through a city and when a team wins a championship within that city, they get ushered through that city aboard them, with thousands of people screaming and cheering at their favorite teams, you can use the word Dynasty towards a team and how long they have been so good, but nine championships out of thirteen and “keying up the Duck Boats” each time, now that is what I call a ” Duck Dynasty”.

The best thing I saw during today’s victory parade with the New England Patriots was, Tom Brady letting his son hold the trophy and kissing it, just as he himself did after being awarded it at the end of the super bowl. This was the best moment for me, since I watched Ray Bourque giving up the number seven for the number seventy-seven, so Phil Esposito can have his number retired to the rafters of the Boston Garden and into the history of the Boston Bruins.

We here in New England have been blessed with some great teams and championships, yes we have seen our share of downs, but right now we are riding a high, so lets embrace this, enjoy the ride, cause we all truly know that the ride isn’t smooth all the time, you have to experience the lows from any sport, so you can truly experience and appreciate the highs when they come, you also have to learn to lose correctly, so you then can be a great winner, while appreciating it while it is here, this was proven in the way Seattle handled losing at the end of the Super Bowl game and when you lose in this fashion, Karma will always come and bite you in the back side of the Anatomy, so let’s all enjoy the ride of our favorite sports teams here in New England, so when the drought does come we can learn to lose as graciously as we win, then the drought wont be as long, as Karma won’t interfere with the ” Duck Dynasty”.

” nine out of thirteen championships, is nothing to sneeze at for any city looking at sports champions”

” Duck dynasty may be a tv show, but the true duck dynasty is in the true title town of the city of Boston”
